Can you solve it? Wordplay wizardry by the UK's king of quiz

UK's Quiz Legend Frank Paul Challenges You with Wordplay Wizardry: Can You Solve It?

Frank Paul, the UK's king of quizzes and Only Connect champion, is back with his signature wordplay wizardry. In this latest puzzle, he presents three distinct challenges that will put your linguistic skills to the test.

First up is a classic Frank Paul conundrum - "Grr! Ooo!" - where each answer consists of two words that are identical in spelling but differ by three consecutive consonants and vowels respectively. For instance, the correct answers for "In a gentle way; social environment" and "mildly; milieu" demonstrate this pattern perfectly.

Next, Frank Paul throws you a curveball with another classic puzzle. In this case, he asks you to find three words where the first letter of the first word is removed to make the second, and the first letter of the second word is removed to make the third. The correct answers are "classic; lassi; ass", which might take some getting used to.

However, the real challenge comes in the form of Frank Paul's infamous "Word Loop" puzzle. This one requires you to find an answer that follows a specific pattern - AB, BC, CA - where A, B, and C are individual words. The example given is "hold forth with hold", which might seem straightforward but can be quite tricky to decipher.

The final challenge comes in the form of a cryptic crossword-style puzzle, where you need to find three hidden numbers next to each other in a piece of writing. This one's going to require some careful analysis and attention to detail.

Can you solve it? Frank Paul promises that there are no spoilers for now, so keep those brain cells sharp until 5pm UK when we'll reveal the solution together!
