Canada's Liberals edge closer to majority after Conservative lawmaker crosses floor

I'm surprised by Ma's decision, but not entirely shocked 🤔. I mean, who wouldn't want to join a party that seems to be delivering on some key issues? But at the same time, I do wonder if he's just trying to advance his own career or something 😏. It does seem like the Liberals are getting a bit of an easy pick-up here, and it might not bode well for the Tories in the long run.

I'm also curious to see how Pierre Poilievre responds to this defection - is he going to try to play the victim card or something? And what's going on with these Conservative parties anyway? It seems like they're losing talent left and right 🤯. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if the Liberals can maintain their momentum 💪.
