Celebrity medium Tyler Henry, 29, has undergone his second brain surgery in just six months as a colloid tumor near the center of his brain continues to cause swelling. The clairvoyant and reality TV star underwent the first procedure in May to remove most of the tumor, but the issue persists.
Henry's husband, musician and artist Clint Godwin, shared the news on Instagram late Thursday night, revealing that the swelling returned over the past month and required another surgery. The operation took place earlier that day, marking Henry's third brain surgery overall.
The young star was just 18 when doctors discovered a congenital brain cyst that led to emergency surgery after weeks of headaches in 2023. Since then, he has been open about his experiences with the condition, saying it wasn't until he was a teenager that symptoms began to manifest.
Colloid tumors are slow-growing and benign brain cysts that can be asymptomatic, but issues can arise if they block the flow of cerebrospinal fluid, leading to increased pressure in the brain. Symptoms can include headaches, nausea, vomiting, memory loss, and difficulty walking.
Henry is currently on the road to recovery after undergoing his second surgery, with Godwin sharing an update that Henry's medical team decided another operation was the best option to address the recurring cyst and swelling. The couple has been together since 2016 and recently tied the knot at the Beverly Hills Courthouse in May.
