I'm not sure why Joe Marler thought it was a good idea to do a podcast where he just goes at people with his wit... I mean, I get it, it's entertaining, but is it really necessary to have like 5 minutes of sketches in the middle? I think I'd rather listen to the interviews or whatever without all that. On the other hand, Eric Morante's story is super inspiring - I loved hearing about how he kept going despite everything. And The Rest Is Science sounds like a really cool chat fest!
I'm not sure I love the growing trend of celebrity podcasts . Don't get me wrong, it's cool to see people like Joe Marler use their platform to showcase their wit and charisma... but is it really necessary for someone to be a "traitor" in order to have a successful podcast? I mean, can't they just focus on sharing their genuine interests or passions without the added drama? And what's up with the audio-only format not being effective this week? Like, didn't people just watch YouTube videos of these episodes anyway?
