CEOs are tired of being held responsible for gun regulation | CNN Business

I cant believe the silence from these big companies 🤯! They used to be all about speaking out on gun control and now its like crickets 🦅. I think its time for them to follow through on what they said 2 yrs ago. If they're not gonna make a difference then why bother? 😐 Its not just the CEOs who are frustrated, its us everyday people who are tired of hearing about it but seeing no action. Come on big companies! Lead by example and show us you mean business 💪

i'm so confused by all the big companies going quiet about gun control 🤔... last year they were all like "we need stricter laws" and now nothing 🗣️... it's like they're waiting for someone else to make a move or something 😒... i mean, we all know elon musk's tweets are just a joke 😂... but seriously though, it's frustrating when people who have the power to influence change aren't speaking up about something that really matters 🤝... if they want gun control to be taken seriously, then they need to show some real leadership 💪

OMG u guys I'm lowkey shocked rn about the silence from big corps on gun control 🤯 like what happened to all those CEOs who used to be vocal about it? they're not backing down but like where's the collective action tho? 🚫 Sonnenfeld's got a point that we need more than just strong words, let's see some $$$💸 and campaign donations too! 💥

I'm low-key annoyed with the big corps right now 🤔. I mean, remember when they were all about that #guncontrol life? But now, after Nashville and all those other school shootings, it's like crickets from them 🐜. Even with their own history of speaking out on social issues, they're just... quiet. Like, what's the plan, CEOs? Are you guys just gonna keep pretending to care until someone else does the heavy lifting? And honestly, I think that's exactly what's happening here 😒. They want everyone else to join them, but without actual backing from their shareholders or something, it's all just hot air 💨. Tesla's sales numbers are weird too... like, they're not even selling as many cars as they're making? What's up with that 🤷‍♂️?

🤔 I'm kinda surprised by the silence from big corporations on gun control after all those years of speaking out on other issues. It's like they're waiting for others to take the lead and create some momentum, but at the same time, they don't want to be seen as having "failed" in their advocacy efforts.

I mean, think about it - all these big companies have already joined forces with gun control advocates, so what more can they do? 🤷‍♂️ It's almost like they're feeling a bit deflated after the Nashville school shooting and are unsure of how to proceed.

What's really going on here is that corporate America's reliance on CEOs as leaders on social issues has created this expectation that everyone else needs to follow suit. Without that collective pressure, it's easy for them to feel like their efforts aren't making a difference.

It's almost like they're waiting for the perfect moment to jump back into the conversation, but without some kind of catalyst or public push, they're just kinda... stuck 😐.
