Rock Legends Unite for One-Night-only Spectacle in Nashville
A rare supergroup featuring singers from six legendary bands is set to come together on November 23rd at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, USA. The special show will be part of a fundraiser for cancer research hosted by retired figure skater Scott Hamilton.
The lineup includes Jason Scheff from Chicago, Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon, Wally Palmar of the Romantics, Loverboy's Mike Reno, Journey's Jason Derlatka, and former Kansas singer John Elefante. Reno's wife, Catherine St Germain, will also make an appearance on stage.
The event promises to be a high-energy "big old rock and roll show" with Hamilton describing it as an "once-in-a-lifetime experience." The special performance is set to take place in an intimate setting, with the seats taken out of Bridgestone Arena and brought down onto the ice, allowing spectators to get up close and personal with both the musicians and the skaters.
The event also features a lineup of legendary figure skaters, including Nathan Chen, Maxin Naumov, Gracie Gold, and Keegan Messing. The show aims to bring together music and skating in an unforgettable night of entertainment that Hamilton promises will "not be believed."
The Scott Hamilton and Friends event is scheduled to raise funds for cancer research centers. Hamilton himself has been a cancer survivor since his diagnosis and founded CARES and the 4th Angel, which pairs newly diagnosed patients with survivors.
Hamilton's passion for music and his desire to share it with others stems from his childhood dreams of meeting his musical heroes. Now, at the age of 67, he is thrilled to have the opportunity to not only attend but also produce this incredible lineup of rock legends in one night. As he stated, "It's like, are you kidding me?" Hamilton believes that music has a way of breaking down barriers and bringing people together.
In an effort to make the show even more special, Bridgestone Arena will be transformed into a theater-like setting, complete with two rows of seats on the ice for spectators to get up close and personal with both the skaters and musicians. This intimate setting promises to create an electric atmosphere that will leave everyone in attendance breathless.
This extraordinary event is set to take place on November 23rd at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, marking a night to remember for music lovers, figure skating fans, and cancer research advocates alike.
