Bonds was definitely one of those players who embodied the spirit of West Ham United 
. I mean, think about it, he came from nowhere (literally!) and became an integral part of the team's success. And yeah, two FA Cups is a big deal! But what really gets me is how he carried himself off the pitch - that leadership quality, his work rate... he was like the ultimate team player 
. I'm not surprised they named the East Stand after him; it's a no-brainer. He's definitely up there with some of the all-time greats for West Ham United

just heard about Billy Bonds, what a legend 
he was more than just a player for West Ham, he embodied the spirit of the club - always gave it his all 
. But seriously, 2 FA Cups and a League Cup are some serious silverware 
. I'm gonna miss seeing him around, but his legacy lives on, especially with the East Stand named after him 
. Anyway, RIP Billy Bonds, you'll never be forgotten
