Coastal flood advisory in place for Bay Area Shorelines from Tuesday to Sunday

omg, flooding in the bay area is getting worse ! these coastal residents are gonna need to get creative with their flood protection like, have you seen those sandbags? how much would they cost? and what about those sneaker waves? I'm low-key freaking out just thinking about it . seriously though, people gotta be prepared for this - evacuate orders should be taken super seriously, no excuses . and btw, can we talk about the infrastructure around here? like, shouldn't our roads and buildings be designed with flooding in mind already?

I'm getting that old beach town vibe all over again but, like, it's totally not the same as the good ol' days when we could just go to the shore without worrying about flooding . Remember those summers when you'd spend hours playing in the waves and building sandcastles? Yeah, those were the days .

Anyway, I guess it's a good thing they're warning people about potential flooding now. Like, back in my day we just kind of... dealt with it . We didn't have all these fancy flood safety guidelines or sandbag distributions like they do now. It was just, "Oh no, the tide is high, go play some beach volleyball!"

But seriously, I hope everyone stays safe and dry during this flooding situation . And can someone please tell me where you can get those affordable sandbags? I wanna be prepared for when the next big flood hits

Ugh, I'm so sick of these flood advisories... Like, can't we just have a decent weather forecast for once? Can't even trust the NWS to tell us when it's gonna get bad without warning us like an hour before it happens. And what's up with the "sneaker waves" they're always talking about... sounds like some fancy term for "big wave of doom".

And have you seen the flood maps? So vague, just a bunch of squiggly lines and arrows. No clear indication of where exactly it's gonna flood. Just great, now I'm stuck at home trying to figure out if my house is in a flood zone or not...

just hope everyone stays safe out there - flooding can be super scary especially if you're not expecting it i think the nws is doing a good job of giving us heads up so we can prepare but still gotta keep an eye on things, especially for those low-lying areas gotta love how they're reminding people to disconnect utilities and appliances - like, don't forget your modem anyway, hoping no major damage occurs and everyone makes it through the weekend unscathed

Ugh, another coastal flooding alert in the Bay Area ! I'm so done with these flood advisories. Can't we just have one sunny day without having to worry about our homes getting flooded? Anyway, I think it's super important for residents to take these warnings seriously and be prepared for anything. Sandbags are a must-know, btw - make sure you know where to get 'em and how to use 'em properly .

And can we talk about how sneaker waves are just the WORST? They're so unpredictable and can catch anyone off guard. I've seen people getting swept away by these rogue waves on social media, and it's always super alarming. So yeah, be aware of your surroundings, folks!

I'm also a bit concerned about road closures and flooding - it's gonna be a major headache for commuters this weekend . Anyone planning to travel to the Bay Area should def plan ahead and check on flood warnings before heading out.

Ugh I mean yay for preparedness lol ... I think it's kinda overkill with all these flood warnings & advisory thingies... Like, can't we just be a little more chill about the whole thing? And what's up with these sneaker waves tho? Are they really that scary? I mean I've seen them before and they're not like, super gnarly or anything... But at the same time, I guess it's always better to be safe than sorry, right?

And honestly, I'm kinda annoyed that the NWS is being so strict with these flood warnings. Like, can't we just enjoy our beach days and parks without all the drama? But noooo, they're being super cautious and it's totally justified... Or is it?
