Romero's red card is just a symptom of a bigger issue, IMO . The squad needs to work on their discipline and teamwork . It's not just about one player's antics, it's about the team's overall mentality . Postecoglou's management has been under fire lately, but I think he deserves more credit for trying to turn things around . Spurs need to take a closer look at themselves, not just point fingers at Romero .
omg i think cristian romero needs to get his act together ASAP he's such a talented player but right now he's just holding the team back. and yeah ange postecoglou gets no credit for how things are going wrong lol, the manager is getting roasted left and right but romero's the one who got sent off it's not all on him though, spurs have some major issues with discipline and leadership i think that's what's really holding them back
omg this cristian romero guy is like, so extra! i mean, yeah he got that red card and all, but sutton's right, it's not just about romero. the whole squad needs to step up their game & show some discipline what's with all these losses for spurs? 7 in a row?! that's like, woah anyway, i think postecoglou does deserve more credit tho... he can't control everyone on the pitch but yeah, romero's reactions after getting sent off were super sus
I'm not sure I agree with Chris Sutton on this one . Don't get me wrong, Cristian Romero's behavior was absolutely unacceptable and he needs to learn from that red card. But blaming it all on him and saying it doesn't reflect on the manager is a bit easy for me . I think Ange Postecoglou needs to take some responsibility too - he's been under so much pressure lately and maybe his tactics or team selection haven't been spot on lately.
It's all about accountability, you know? If Romero isn't playing well, it's not just him who needs to step up (or rather down ), but also the rest of the squad. And the manager needs to be held accountable for making those decisions. It's a team sport, after all
