DC to put national guard on joint patrols with local police after shootings

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this new deployment thing... it feels like a big change on the fly 😕. I mean, I get that they need help with the violence, but now they're gonna have more eyes on the streets? That sounds kinda heavy for some of these guys who aren't even trained cops 🤯. And what about the original plan to focus on street crime reduction? Did that get squashed or something? Also, 48 hours is pretty short to make a decision like this... hope everything stays safe in DC 🙏.
 
This is getting really outta hand 🤯. I mean, I know crime is a big problem in DC but you can't just throw more troops at it without thinking about the bigger picture 💡. They're supposed to be helping reduce street crime, not making it worse. And what's with these high-visibility patrols? That just sounds like a recipe for disaster 🚨. I'm all for supporting our law enforcement but sometimes you gotta think outside the box and come up with some new solutions that don't involve throwing more bodies at the problem 😬.
