Did Hitler really have a 'micropenis'? The dubious documentary analysing the dictator's DNA

I just saw this doco and I'm still trying to wrap my head around it 🤯. They're saying that because of the DNA test, we can "know" what makes Hitler tick? It's crazy how far people are willing to go for a story. But, you know, I do think it's interesting to explore how genetics might be linked to personality traits... or not. 💭 The problem is, they're making big claims without doing the proper research. Like, if we can't trust the DNA samples because some relatives didn't give their consent, then what does that say about the whole thing? 🤔 And yeah, using polygenic risk scores like that for an individual assessment is a red flag. It's just not good science, you know? 😊

This documentary thingy got me thinking... is it possible for us to truly understand someone like Hitler by looking at their DNA? I mean, we can try to break down our genetic code into these little bits and pieces, but does that really reveal the complexities of human nature? 🤔

It's like trying to map out a river just because you know its starting point. The water's gotta flow somewhere, right? But what about all the twists and turns along the way? Does DNA really capture that? And what about the stuff we can't see – our experiences, our choices... those are the things that make us who we are.

I'm not saying it's not cool to try to learn more about history, but sometimes I think we gotta be careful not to reduce someone's story to just a bunch of numbers and letters. It's like trying to put a price tag on human experience – does that even make sense? 🤷‍♂️

I'm really disappointed in this docu, its just so irresponsible 🤦‍♀️. I mean, come on, you take a piece of fabric from Hitler's sofa and try to figure out his DNA? And then you have relatives who didn't even know they were related to him at the time providing their DNA 10 years later? That's some sketchy stuff right there 🙅‍♂️.

And I get where the scientists are coming from, like, if we're gonna use these polygenic risk scores, shouldn't it be on a population level and not individual assessments? And what about the stigma around neurodiverse conditions like ADHD? That's a whole other can of worms 🤯. I feel like the docuakers just went ahead and did whatever they wanted without thinking it through.

I'm also worried about how this is gonna affect public perception, like if people start taking these findings at face value, that's just not right 🙅‍♂️. It's one thing to learn from history, but you can't just cherry-pick bits and bobs to fit your narrative. Can we just stick to the facts? 😒

OMG, I'm like totally shook by this docu 🤯. Can you even believe they found Hitler's DNA from some old fabric? It's like they're trying to play God or something 💀. I get why they wanted to do it, but the way they went about it is just so... problematic. They took DNA from relatives without their consent, which is a major no-no. And now we have these polygenic risk scores that are supposed to predict Hitler's behavior? It sounds like they're trying to make a case for his evilness being 'just his genes' 🤦‍♂️. I'm all about accuracy and science here, but come on! Can't they see how this is just going to perpetuate these outdated stereotypes and stigma around neurodiverse conditions? It's just so... disturbing 🚫. And what really gets me is that the docu tries to make connections between Hitler's DNA and his behavior without any concrete evidence. Like, hello, correlation doesn't equal causation, guys! Can't they just leave the old dude alone? 😒
