Winter Wonderland Returns to Dilworth Park This Season.
Center City is gearing up for another chilly winter season as Dilworth Park transforms into a bustling winter destination starting November 14. The iconic plaza at the base of City Hall will welcome over 3.7 million visitors, who can enjoy ice skating, holiday shopping, and various cold-weather activities.
Ice skating enthusiasts are in luck, as the Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink is back for another season with daily sessions through February 22. Admission prices start at $10 for adults and $7 for children under 11, while skate rentals can be secured for an additional $10. Visitors can reserve a spot online and take advantage of discounted group rates.
The revamped Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin offers an enhanced dining experience with expanded food options, bar service, and TVs for sports fans looking to warm up during the games. The outdoor space also features fire pits perfect for visitors of all ages, as well as private rentals available for groups.
Families can get into the holiday spirit by attending two special Breakfast with Santa events on December 13 and 20. These festive mornings include a buffet meal, photos with Santa, and time on the ice – but be sure to reserve a spot in advance.
The Wintergarden will remain open through March 15, featuring illuminated sculptures, seasonal plants, and a kiosk serving mulled wine for those 21 and older. Meanwhile, the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market returns with local vendors offering handmade goods, artwork, jewelry, skincare products, and more.
