Don't want to cook this Thanksgiving? These Philly restaurants are open

If you're feeling overwhelmed about cooking Thanksgiving dinner this year, don't worry – Philadelphia has got you covered with a range of restaurants offering special menus on and around the holiday.

For those who prefer to skip the stress of cooking altogether, several top-rated eateries in the city have come up with creative alternatives. Kalaya, named one of the best restaurants in North America, is teaming up with chefs from Studiokitchen and Manna Bakery to create a unique Friendsgiving menu featuring dishes like sticky rice balls and Thai-inspired basque cheesecakes. The special meal costs $125 per person, plus tax.

On the other hand, those who want to enjoy the holiday with a view can head to Attico's rooftop restaurant, where family-style Thanksgiving dishes like herb-brined turkey breast will be served at an affordable price of $45 per person. Reservations must be made in advance by calling 267-519-0965 or online.

For those looking for a more laid-back dining experience, Bastia is offering Corsican-inspired takes on traditional holiday dishes like roasted Lancaster turkey and semolina stuffing. The dinner costs $65 and includes seconds, with wine pairings also available.

Urban Farmer is another option for those who don't want to eat turkey – the restaurant offers a prix-fixe dinner featuring alternatives like arka salmon and stuffed pork loin. Roasted turkey is still on the menu, along with family-style sides like cornbread stuffing and mashed potatoes. The dinner costs $125 per adult and $64 for children under 12.

For those who don't want to wait in line on Thanksgiving Day, both locations of Misconduct Tavern will be open exclusively for walk-in diners, serving their regular menu as well as a Thanksgiving platter with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. The prices are the same as always – $15-$20 per entree.

Dolce Italian in the W Hotel is taking things to the next level by offering a festive breakfast buffet on November 27 from 7-11 am, followed by lunch and dinner buffets with carving stations and all-you-can-eat deals. The dessert station will serve classic Italian treats like tiramisu and cannolis.

Finally, CO-OP Restaurant and Bar is offering two options for Thanksgiving Day: take-out or dine prix fixe at the restaurant. For $88, you can order a complete meal for two people, which includes traditional dishes like turkey breast, mashed potatoes, stuffing, Brussels sprouts, and pumpkin pie. The price also includes a glass of champagne or non-alcoholic beverage.

Whether you're looking for a unique dining experience or just want to relax with friends without the hassle of cooking, these Philadelphia restaurants have got you covered this Thanksgiving.
