
Just when you think museums are all about preserving history and promoting culture, there's a scandal brewing at Chicago's DuSable Black History Museum

. It looks like the CEO, Perri Irmer, might have been cooking the books using public funds

. A former employee, Kim Dulaney, is now suing the museum and its president for allegedly harassing her and misusing funds

. And if that's not enough, there are more legal issues piling up... a company is suing the museum over unpaid services and another staffer had to sue after raising concerns about grant money

. I mean, I get it, institutions can be tricky to navigate, but this is just ridiculous

. Councilor Jeanette Taylor's comments about there being no formal path for accountability are spot on

. Guess we'll have to wait and see what happens with this one...
