Eagles offensive coordinator search, coach rumor and report tracker

The Philadelphia Eagles have parted ways with offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo, a move that comes as no surprise given the team's lackluster performance on offense throughout the 2025 season. The team is now searching for a new OC, and several candidates are vying for the position.

Sean Mannion has already been hired as the new OC, bringing his experience from his time with the Broncos to the table. However, it appears that Mannion will be facing some competition in the form of Josh Grizzard, who is set to interview with the team for a second time. Grizzard, formerly the OC at Tampa Bay, has a strong background in developing quarterbacks and running games.

Another candidate making waves in the coaching circles is Jim Bob Cooter, who has already had an in-person meeting with the Eagles. However, it remains to be seen whether Cooter's interview will lead to him landing the job.

The team is also exploring other options, including Davis Webb, who is reportedly being considered for an OC position with several teams. Webb, formerly the QBs coach at Denver, has a strong background in developing quarterbacks and could bring a fresh perspective to the Eagles' offense.

Meanwhile, Jeff Stoutland, who has been the run game coordinator for the team, may be losing his job as he struggles to find success in that role. However, it's worth noting that Stoutland's departure would likely not be a significant loss for the team, given the issues they've faced with their run game.

The Eagles have also been interviewing several other candidates, including Matt Nagy, who has expressed interest in the OC position. However, it remains to be seen whether Nagy will ultimately land the job.

As the search for an OC continues, one thing is clear: the team needs to find someone who can bring a new and innovative approach to their offense. With the departure of Patullo and the lackluster performance from the current OC, the Eagles are facing a critical moment in determining the direction of their franchise.

Brian Daboll has been identified as a top candidate for the job, but it's worth noting that he has also expressed interest in becoming the head coach of the Bills. If he doesn't land that job, Daboll is expected to be offered the OC position with the Eagles.

The team is also likely to interview some of the other highly-rated coaches in the league, including Mike McDaniel and Kliff Kingsbury. These two have expressed interest in becoming head coaches at other teams, but it's possible that they may be willing to consider an OC role if the right opportunity arises.

Overall, the Eagles are facing a critical moment in their search for a new OC. With several candidates vying for the position, the team will need to make some tough decisions in order to find someone who can bring a fresh perspective and help turn things around on offense.

Wow ๐Ÿคฉ, I think it's about time the Eagles shake things up behind the scenes - 0-5 is not pretty ๐Ÿ˜ฌ. Sean Mannion seems like a solid pick, but Josh Grizzard could bring some interesting ideas to the table ๐Ÿค”. Jim Bob Cooter's interview was cool ๐Ÿ‘€, and Davis Webb would be a great fit as a QB coach ๐Ÿ’ก. The real question is can anyone fix this offense? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

man i feel bad for kevin patullo lol he got done wrong by the eagles ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ but sean mannion is gonna be a great fit for this team, dude's got the experience to make some real changes happen ๐Ÿ’ช he's already been working with quarterbacks and stuff, so i think he's def got the skills to take this offense to the next level ๐Ÿ‘

I'm still thinking about that Patullo thing... I mean, I get it, the Eagles aren't doing so great on offense right now ๐Ÿค”. But do we need another OC? Can't they just tweak the old system or something? ๐Ÿ˜‚ And what's up with all these candidates coming out of nowhere? Sean Mannion is cool and all, but hasn't he been around for a bit? ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™‚๏ธ I think the team needs to focus on finding someone who can work with Jalen Hurts instead of constantly changing OCs. That's my two cents ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

๐Ÿค” I think Sean Mannion's hire is a solid move, but don't count out Josh Grizzard just yet ๐Ÿšซ. He's got some great experience under his belt and I think his background in developing QBs could be a game-changer for the Eagles' offense ๐Ÿ’ช. Plus, he's already had a second interview with the team, so he's definitely in the mix ๐Ÿค. It's not like they're going to just overlook him because of his past interviews ๐Ÿ˜’. The thing is, Mannion does have some experience from his time with the Broncos, but we don't know if it'll translate to Philly just yet ๐Ÿˆ. Maybe Jim Bob Cooter or Davis Webb will bring something special to the table? ๐Ÿค”

Ugh, another season done and dusted, and the Eagles are already in crisis mode ๐Ÿค•. Kevin Patullo's departure was only a matter of time, given how poorly they performed on offense this year. And now they're scrambling to find someone who can sort them out... good luck with that ๐Ÿ˜‚. Sean Mannion is in, but Josh Grizzard might be worth a shot? We'll see if he can magic some wins out of that struggling offense. Meanwhile, Jim Bob Cooter's interview didn't exactly fill me with confidence... ๐Ÿค” and what about Davis Webb? Maybe someone who's fresh from the QBs coach bench will bring some much-needed innovation to the table? Not holding my breath tho ๐Ÿ˜ด

just saw this thread like 3 days ago ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ and i have to say i think sean mannion is gonna be the one. he's been around the block a few times, knows what it takes to win, and has some legit connections in the league. josh grizzard is cool and all but mannion just seems like the more polished candidate to me. also, gotta agree that jeff stoutland's run game stuff hasn't been working out lately lol ๐Ÿ˜‚

"Change is the law of life, and those who do not change, are doomed to be left behind." ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿˆ I think the Eagles' decision to part ways with Patullo was necessary, given their struggles on offense this season. Now, it's time for them to bring in someone new to shake things up. With several candidates vying for the OC position, I'm excited to see who they'll choose and how they'll impact the team's performance next season! ๐Ÿค”

๐Ÿค” The Eagles really need a shakeup at OC. They've been struggling all season, and I don't think Sean Mannion is gonna magic it away. I'm still skeptical about Grizzard, he's got the right experience but has that team ever even made the playoffs? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ Jim Bob Cooter might be the guy they're looking for, though - his work with Tom Brady was solid. But let's not forget about Davis Webb, he's a young coach who could bring some fresh ideas to the table. The fact that Stoutland is getting the axe doesn't really surprise me, tbh... ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ If Daboll doesn't get the head coaching gig in Buffalo, I think Eagles would be lucky to have him as OC. And yeah, Mike McDaniel and Kliff Kingsbury are definitely top contenders - whoever lands that job is gonna bring a big boost to Philly's offense ๐Ÿš€

You know what's crazy? I was at this food truck fest last weekend and they had these insane crepe sandwiches... like, seriously though, have you ever tried one of those? It's like a party in your mouth! ๐Ÿคฏ Anyway, back to the Eagles... I don't think they'll find someone who can just magically fix their offense. It's like trying to fix a leaky faucet with duct tape - it might work for a little while but ultimately it's gonna break again. They need to go all out and get someone who knows what they're doing, like Brian Daboll or Mike McDaniel... those guys are the real deal! ๐Ÿค“

The Eagles' OC situation is just another example of how teams are stuck in neutral ๐Ÿ”„. They've got all these high-profile coaches vying for the job, but it's not like any of them have solved the problem ๐Ÿค”. I mean, Sean Mannion's a solid guy, but he's never been an OC before... how much of his experience is gonna translate? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ And what about Josh Grizzard, who's got a background in QB development, but has the team ever actually used that to its advantage? ๐Ÿค”

And let's not forget about Jeff Stoutland, who's struggling to get anything out of the run game... if he's getting cut, is it really gonna be a huge loss for the team? ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™‚๏ธ I don't know, man, sometimes you gotta shake things up and try something new. But at the same time, you also can't just throw out all the experience and expertise that these guys bring to the table ๐Ÿค.

It's like, what even is the Eagles' vision for their offense anymore? ๐Ÿค” Are they gonna go with a more West Coast-style system, or try to get fancy with some new gimmick? I don't know, man... it just feels like they're stuck in limbo ๐Ÿ˜ด.

Ugh, I'm so done with these NFL teams and their coaching carousel ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ’จ. It's like they're trying to confuse us on purpose. Back in my day, we had one or two teams that actually knew what they were doing on the field. Nowadays, it seems like every team is experimenting with new coaches and schemes, just to see what sticks ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐Ÿ‘€.

I mean, I'm all for innovation and trying new things, but come on, can't they just stick with what works? Sean Mannion's already being thrown into the mix without giving the other guys a chance... what's up with that?! ๐Ÿ˜’ And don't even get me started on Josh Grizzard - he's got some solid credentials, but I'm not convinced he's the right fit yet ๐Ÿค”.

And then there's Jim Bob Cooter... who is this guy again? ๐Ÿ˜‚ I've never heard of him before. Maybe it's because I'm just out of touch, haha! But seriously, can't they at least give some love to the coaches who actually know what they're doing in the trenches? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ
