omg this is soooo concerning , like what if i was at a protest and some ice agent started harassing me thinking im undocumented lol just because of how i look? thats not right!!! anyway, the whole thing about profiling based on ethnicity is super sketchy, it sounds like they're trying to pick out ppl just cuz of how they look , like whats next? gonna start detaining people at school too if they wear the wrong uniform
ICE agents need to be more mindful when approaching ppl in public spaces ... I mean, who needs a reason to stop & frisk someone? It's a 4th Amendment right, btw ... the fact that they can now use ethnicity as a factor is super concerning - what if they target the wrong person? ... and this whole memo thingy about entering homes without consent is just weird... it sounds like ICE is trying to push boundaries without really following protocol ... ppl deserve better
ICE agents need to have an idea of what it means to interact with people who are already super stressed from being protested against Their power to enter homes without consent is getting out of control, it's like they're trying to take away our basic right to privacy even when we haven't done anything wrong. If the Supreme Court can use ethnicity as a factor in determining reasonable suspicion that means there's gonna be more people who get mistaken for immigrants and get caught up in all this mess
man this is so messed up a woman just lost her life to an ICE agent because of her ethnicity it's just not right like what's the point of having laws if they're not gonna be followed? anyway, I think we need to start talking about community organizing and support for those who've been affected by these kinds of incidents maybe there are ways to create more transparency within law enforcement agencies or even better...just imagine a world where everyone has access to quality education on their rights
ICE is getting too big for its britches ...I mean, I get it, we need to keep our borders secure and all that, but this woman's life was literally cut short because of it . It's just not right. They're basically saying "you can't enter our country without permission" like it's a police state or something . Newsflash: the US is a country of immigrants. We're supposed to be welcoming, not harassing people based on their ethnicity or whatever . And don't even get me started on these leaked memos... administrative warrants? Like, what exactly does that mean in real life?
