I feel like this whole situation is so draining for everyone involved 
... The US trying to negotiate a peace plan is definitely a positive step, but it's hard not to think that they're being pulled into this by the Russians on some level 
... I mean, if their claims that the 28-point plan was just a "wish list" are true, then what does that say about Russia's intentions? Are they really willing to work towards peace or is this just a tactic to get them out of committing to something? 
... It's also frustrating for Ukraine and their allies who are tired of being stuck in the middle of all this 
... But at the same time, it's good that the US is taking the initiative and trying to find common ground 
... We just have to hope that Russia is on board with these talks too

). Seriously though, 28 points is a pretty solid foundation for negotiations. And let's be real, if Ukraine and Europe are already skeptical about it, what's the harm in talking it out with Russia? I think we should at least give it a shot before dismissing it outright 
. And btw, who do these senators think they are, calling it a "Russian wish list"? Sounds like some good old-fashioned US politics to me 
! it's like finally something is happening on the ukraine front. i've been following this war for ages and it's getting so old. but seriously, if the us is willing to have talks then maybe we can actually get somewhere. 28 points sounds like a lot, but idk how much of it kyiv and eu are gonna be down with. still, it's better than nothing, right? 
let's just hope they don't get too bogged down in the details. the prisoner swap thing is def something i'm excited about tho, those ppl have been held hostage for ages. fingers crossed it all works out and we can finally see some peace. 
. Now's the time for some actual talks, you know? And who knows, maybe this will be the break Ukraine needs to finally get out of this dark place. Fingers crossed 
. But at the same time, if Russia is skeptical of the plan, that makes sense - they're not gonna agree to something that doesn't benefit them, you know? 
It's all about finding a middle ground. I'd love to see what comes out of those Geneva talks on Sunday
