I just got back from Derby and I'm totally inspired!
The city has so much history and character - from the beautiful Dovedale valley to the industrial heritage of Cromford Mills. Joseph Wright's art is like a window into the past, showing us what life was like in Derby during the Enlightenment era. His use of light and dark is just mesmerizing!

I drew a quick diagram to show how Wright's art reflects the values of his time - reason, science, and industry...

```
It's amazing to see how Wright's art has been inspired by the city's history and culture. And the National Gallery show was so worth it!
