FAA says flight cuts will stay at 6% because more air traffic controllers are coming to work

aww yaaas im so happy to hear that the FAA is prioritizing safety!!! 🙌 6% reduction might seem like a lot but its def better than those crazy cancellations during the shutdown! 🤯 i feel bad for the air traffic controllers tho, stress and financial struggles cant be easy on them 😔 lets hope these new measures help alleviate some of that pressure 🙏

Still a lot of flights getting cancelled 🛫😬. Think about all the people who need to travel for work or personal reasons... 6% reduction just isn't enough. Shouldn't we be looking at ways to increase capacity instead? Stress and financial pressure on air traffic controllers isn't helping, but it's not solving the problem either 🤔.

I'm a bit surprised they're not reducing flight caps more since it's been a while now and things have kinda settled down 🤔. I mean, 6% is still gonna leave some flights grounded, but maybe it's better than having even more cancellations? The thing that worries me is how airlines are handling this... I've seen some airlines just taking advantage of the situation to raise fares on already expensive tickets 🤑. It's not exactly transparent, you know? And what about passengers who already had plans to travel? It's just gonna add to the stress and hassle.

"Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans."

I think it's crazy how a government shutdown can have such an impact on our daily lives, like, flying becomes super sketchy... but at least now we know they're trying to address the issue and keep us safe!

Flight reductions at US airports? More bad news for travelers 🚫😩. I mean, can't we just have smooth sailing for once? Nope, even after the shutdown, air traffic controllers are still taking time off due to stress and financial pressure... it's like they're already overworked before the government shutdown 🤯. Now, flights are getting cancelled left and right, with over 10,100 of them scrapped since Friday alone... that's just rough 🚪. Can't wait to see what other surprises the FAA has in store for us 😬. And don't even get me started on the stress it must be causing air traffic control centers 👀... I mean, you'd think they'd be used to dealing with high-stress jobs by now but nope 🙄.

I'm so glad they're re-evaluating the situation! I mean, can you imagine how stressful it must be for those air traffic controllers going without pay? 😩 It's a big deal, especially with all the airports affected. I'm curious to see how it plays out - will we start seeing more flights back up? Hopefully, they'll be able to find a balance between getting things back on track and keeping everyone safe. The 6% cap is still a bit of a bummer for travelers, but at least it's not as bad as it could've been 🤞.
