FDNY: 4-alarm fire kills one, injures more than a dozen at Bronx high-rise

man that's just heartbreaking ๐Ÿค• the fact that a whole building was on fire and people had to be rushed to hospital is just crazy... and it's not like they even got the chance to finish the renovations lol like what were they doing when it went down? anyway, you can't help but think about all those families who are left without a home ๐Ÿ  and it's just so sad... NYCHA has been getting a lot of flak for years over its condition and safety issues, this is just another example of that ๐Ÿšจ but at the same time, I feel bad for the firefighters too, they're the ones putting their lives on the line every day ๐Ÿ’”

๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ˜ฑ Can't believe another NYCHA building catches fire & we're still talkin 'bout poor ppl strugglin 2 make ends meet ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ Those renovations they keep sayin about? More like a ticking time bomb waitin 4 somethin 2 go wrong ๐Ÿ”ฅ. What's the point a fixin buildings if u ain't gonna put safety first? We need real solutions, not just empty promises ๐Ÿค‘. Fire chief should be askin himself how dis happen & what's he gonna do 2 prevent it from happenin again ๐Ÿ”ฎ.

๐Ÿค•๐Ÿ˜ฑ That building was a ticking time bomb ๐ŸŽฏ๐Ÿ’ฅ just waiting for something like this to happen ๐Ÿ’”. I'm still trying to process how 74 fire trucks couldn't prevent such disaster ๐Ÿ˜ฉ. NYCHA has been in shambles for years, it's no surprise that tragedy struck again ๐Ÿ”ฅ. The fact that renovations were happening at the time is a big red flag ๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿ”. We need real change and not just Band-Aid solutions ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’ช

Ugh, I'm still trying to wrap my head around this ๐Ÿคฏ... like, 4-alarm fire? That's insane! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ And the fact that it was a gas leak that started it all? So not cool. You'd think with all the advancements in safety and whatnot, we'd be able to prevent something like this from happening. But nope, NYCHA building still got some serious issues... been hearing about this for years now ๐Ÿ˜”.

I mean, 74 fire units? That's a lotta manpower! ๐Ÿ’ช And 11 people injured? That's not cool at all ๐Ÿค•. The fact that one person lost their life is just heartbreaking โค๏ธ.

And can we talk about the renovations they were doing on this building? Were they even done right? ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ I'm guessing some corners got cut, but come on... you'd think with all the scrutiny they're under, NYCHA would be able to get it together. ๐Ÿ™„

๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ˜ฑ This is just heartbreaking news. I mean, a 4-alarm fire in a NYCHA building? It's like, we should've seen this coming. These buildings have been in disrepair for years and it's just not fair to the people living there. ๐Ÿคฏ The fact that there was a renovation going on and they're still struggling with gas work... it's just a recipe for disaster. ๐Ÿ’ฃ And now, one person is gone and so many others are injured... what can we do? It feels like we're just scratching the surface of this issue and not really addressing the root problem. ๐Ÿค”

I cant believe this is happening again in NYCHA buildings ๐Ÿค• they need to do more to ensure these buildings are safe for residents I mean its been years and people have been complaining about disrepair and safety issues... it just feels like a preventable tragedy ๐Ÿš’ anyways, firefighters did an amazing job in battling the blaze but its not enough to stop the devastating consequences of these fires ๐Ÿ’” hope those who lost loved ones get the support they need
