omg I dont get why theres always drama like this 
... so they wanna deny trans kids the right to use bathrooms thats fine with them but not the city? isnt that just equality for everyone?? I mean, I've heard of some schools having separate bathrooms for boys and girls but why can't they have single-stall ones too?! that way everyone feels safe and comfortable

. Like, come on, shouldn't we be supporting kids who need specialized programs to succeed? The fact that the Trump administration is trying to hold these schools hostage over trans policy is just ridiculous 
. We know that allowing trans students to use bathrooms and facilities that align with their identities isn't about "denying rights" to girls, it's about respecting everyone's right to be themselves.

A trans girl who has been told she can use a girls' bathroom may still feel uncomfortable using it, even if her peers say so - that's not about "male rights" or "female space", that's about respect and understanding. We need to get on board with supporting all students, regardless of their identity

AND NOW SCHOOLS ARE GETTING THROWN INTO CHAOS OVER THIS, WHICH IS JUST GREAT. I HOPPELY SOMEONE CAN FIGURE OUT A WAY TO RESOLVE THIS WITHOUT KIDS BEING LEFT FEELING UNCOMFORTABLE OR STRESSFUL IN SCHOOL
