Former Detroit Lions linebacker’s coffee brand is now available at local Krogers - Detroit Metro Times

Detroit Lions Fans, Get Ready to Fuel Up with a Former Lion's Brew.

A new coffee brand is hitting the shelves in the Motor City, and it's got a familiar face behind the beans - former Detroit Lions linebacker Stephen Tulloch. Circle House Coffee, named after Tulloch's jersey number 55, is now available for purchase at select Kroger locations in Metro Detroit.

Tulloch, who played for the Lions from 2006 to 2011, has partnered with Kroger to bring his coffee brand to the community. "I am incredibly excited to partner with Kroger and bring Circle House Coffee to the Metro Detroit community," he said. "This opportunity not only allows us to expand our reach but also helps us continue our mission of making a positive impact in the area I've called home for so many years."

Fans can meet Tulloch and sample his coffee at two launch events on December 13th, one at the Kroger in Shelby Township from 10-11:30 am and another at the Royal Oak location from noon-1:30 pm. Additionally, Circle House Coffee blends will be available for purchase at several Detroit-area Korgers.

One of the coffee blends, Fifty-Five Signature Blend, is named after Tulloch's jersey number, while a limited-edition Motor City Espresso Blend is also part of the brand. A portion of proceeds from each sale will support local charities, according to the company.

It seems that Tulloch's passion for his hometown and community extends beyond football - at least when it comes to coffee. With Circle House Coffee now available in Metro Detroit, fans can fuel up on a good cup of joe while supporting local initiatives.

🤔 just wondering if Stephen Tulloch's NFL career was all about Detroit Lions or did he play for other teams too? 🏈 not sure why Kroger partnered with him though, maybe it's a great marketing move to get people talking about their coffee 😊 anyway, it's nice that a portion of the proceeds will go to local charities, that's definitely something to cheer about 💛

I don’t usually comment but I gotta say, this is actually kinda cool that Stephen Tulloch is getting into the coffee game! 🤔 I mean, who doesn't love a good cuppa, right? And it's awesome that he's partnering with Kroger to bring Circle House Coffee to Metro Detroit. It's great to see former athletes giving back to their communities in such a tangible way. Plus, it's nice to have some local options for coffee lovers, you know? I'm curious to try out the Fifty-Five Signature Blend and support local charities at the same time. Maybe I'll even grab a cup before heading to a Lions game 🏈👍

You know, I was reading about this new coffee brand from Stephen Tulloch, the former Lions linebacker... it got me thinking, what's the connection between our daily fuel and our sense of community? Like, how do we define ourselves as individuals and as a group? Is it through our passions, like football or coffee, that we find meaning? And what about when those things change - does our identity follow suit?

I guess it's cool that Tulloch is putting his heart into this project, using his platform to make a positive impact in the area. It's not just about selling coffee, but about connecting with people and giving back. I wonder if we can all learn from that...

🤩 gotta love it when our faves from the gridiron branch out into new ventures! Stephen Tulloch is killin' it with his new coffee brand and partnering with Kroger to bring it to the D - talk about fueling up for game days or just a casual morning ☕️. I'm definitely gettin' my Fifty-Five Signature Blend fix, gotta rep the ol' 55 jersey number 💚. And hey, supportin' local charities is the real MVP 🙌. Can't wait to grab some coffee and meet Steve at those launch events - sounds like a blast! 🎉

omg, like I know this is gonna sound weird but... isn't Stephen Tulloch like 40+ now? I mean, I'm all for the dude getting into the coffee game and giving back to his community, but come on, that's some senior citizen vibes going on here! Still, props to him for taking a chance on something new. The fact that Kroger is on board with this venture says a lot about their commitment to supporting local businesses and initiatives. And hey, if it helps get more people out of bed in the morning, I'm all for it!

I'm low-key impressed that Stephen Tulloch is gettin' into the coffee game! Like, who wouldn't wanna drink a cup o' joe with their fave NFL player's name on it? But for real tho, it's dope that he's partnerin' up with Kroger to give back to the community. I'm all about supportin' local initiatives and charities too! 🤩 Now, I wonder what kinda flavors they got - is it gonna be a game-changer or just another coffee brand tryin' to get in on the action? Either way, I'll def be checkin' it out!

I'm so down with this new coffee brand, Circle House Coffee is gonna be a game-changer 🤩, but at the same time I'm like, isn't it weird that they're naming their coffee after Stephen Tulloch's jersey number and not just, like, his actual name or something? I mean, 55 might be a cool number and all, but come on, Circle House should have a more creative name than that 🤔. And what's up with the limited-edition Motor City Espresso Blend being part of the brand? Are they trying to say that their coffee is only good in Detroit or something? I'm still hyped about the whole thing tho, especially since a portion of proceeds go to local charities 👍
