Detroit Lions Fans, Get Ready to Fuel Up with a Former Lion's Brew.
A new coffee brand is hitting the shelves in the Motor City, and it's got a familiar face behind the beans - former Detroit Lions linebacker Stephen Tulloch. Circle House Coffee, named after Tulloch's jersey number 55, is now available for purchase at select Kroger locations in Metro Detroit.
Tulloch, who played for the Lions from 2006 to 2011, has partnered with Kroger to bring his coffee brand to the community. "I am incredibly excited to partner with Kroger and bring Circle House Coffee to the Metro Detroit community," he said. "This opportunity not only allows us to expand our reach but also helps us continue our mission of making a positive impact in the area I've called home for so many years."
Fans can meet Tulloch and sample his coffee at two launch events on December 13th, one at the Kroger in Shelby Township from 10-11:30 am and another at the Royal Oak location from noon-1:30 pm. Additionally, Circle House Coffee blends will be available for purchase at several Detroit-area Korgers.
One of the coffee blends, Fifty-Five Signature Blend, is named after Tulloch's jersey number, while a limited-edition Motor City Espresso Blend is also part of the brand. A portion of proceeds from each sale will support local charities, according to the company.
It seems that Tulloch's passion for his hometown and community extends beyond football - at least when it comes to coffee. With Circle House Coffee now available in Metro Detroit, fans can fuel up on a good cup of joe while supporting local initiatives.
