Former DOGE Engineer Is Now Back in Government

just saw this news about Sahil Lavingia joining the IRS 🤑... think it's pretty interesting that someone with no prior experience ended up in the DOGE before getting recruited by Sam Corcos 🤝 wonder how much of a hand his experience played in what led to him leaving his role at VA 😐

I don't get why people still think government should be all about efficiency 🤔. I mean, Sahil Lavingia's experience is actually pretty cool - who wouldn't want to use AI to write code for the VA? But what really gets me is how he got fired from his job just because he spoke out against DOGE's lack of organization 😒. It's like, if you're not careful with transparency, people start to lose trust in your whole agency. I wish more people would speak up about these issues before things escalate 🤷‍♀️.

And now that he's at the IRS, I'm curious to see how he'll modernize their software - it's definitely due for a refresh! A mobile app would be huge - can you imagine how easy it'd be to file taxes on the go? 💻👍

OMG 🤯 I'm so stoked for Sahil Lavingia 🙌! He's like, a total rockstar 💥 in my book! I mean, who else can just walk into the IRS and start making changes? 🔄 It's like he's got a PhD in government tech 🎓! And can we talk about that AI tool he used at the VA? Genius 💡! He's already making waves there and now he's joining another agency that's all about change. I'm low-key hoping this is just the beginning of some major shifts 🔥 in how gov works online. And, fingers crossed 🤞, we get a sick mobile app from him too! The possibilities are endless 🌟

just thought about this guy Sahil Lavingia and i'm like wow his story is actually pretty inspiring 🤩, starts with no experience and then gets picked by DOGE to work on modernizing software for taxpayers, but ends up leaving after being disillusioned with the org's transparency, then lands at IRS where he's all about making gov services better through tech, but still kinda critical of their online presence lol, i guess it just goes to show that even in gov, you gotta be realistic about what can and cant change 🤔
