From squirrel picnics to penpals, karaoke to crochet: 43 easy ways to lift your spirits

I think what's really cool is that people are finally recognizing how important it is to take care of our mental health. I mean, we're living in a world where everyone's always connected to their devices, but sometimes the least helpful thing you can do for your mind is scroll through social media 😴. Taking breaks from tech and getting outside is so underrated - have you ever noticed how much more alive you feel after spending some time in nature? And I love that people are finding creative ways to connect with others, like writing letters or dancing at home 🕺. It's all about finding what works for you and making self-care a priority.

I mean I was totally guilty of ignoring my mental health back when I was a student. I'd be up all night cramming for exams or stressing about a looming deadline and just not take care of myself. But one thing that really helped me was taking breaks from tech, you know, like watching live animal cams on YouTube 😂. It's hilarious how cute those little critters are and it just took my mind off things for a bit. And then I started dancing around my room to my fave songs - who knew it could be so therapeutic? 🕺💃

I'm not convinced that watching live animal cams on YouTube is exactly what I'd call "mindfulness". It's just me chillin' with cute animals online 🐰😴. Don't get me wrong, it might be fun for a bit, but how does that really promote self-awareness or inner peace? And what about all the times when those adorable critters are being neglected in the wild? Can we really separate our online interactions from the real world? I'd love to see some studies on this one... 🤔
