I think its cool that Joyce DiDonato wants to share traditional opera with a wider audience, especially inmates in prisons - that's so inspiring! But I'm not sure if she's being too harsh on the contemporary opera scene... doesn't everyone have different tastes? Maybe she just needs to find more people who appreciate complex music?
awww this woman is literally spreading love & kindness through music she's been working with prisoners & using opera to bring people together its amazing how she believes that opera can be a powerful tool for healing and I'm so here for it DiDonato's passion is infectious & her commitment to sharing music with everyone is truly inspiring
