Gear News of the Week: Apple’s AI Wearable and a Phone That Can Boot Android, Linux, and Windows

Apple is reportedly developing an AI-powered wearable that will be the size of an AirTag, according to a new rumor. The device, codenamed "Campos," will be powered by Google's Gemini models and integrated into iPhones, Macs, and iPads in their respective operating system updates later this fall.

The wearable will have multiple cameras, a speaker, and microphones and will feature wireless charging. Apple is also developing smart glasses with an embedded AI assistant, as well as augmented reality glasses, a security camera, and AirPods with "enhanced" sensors.

Additionally, Bloomberg reports that Apple's Siri improvements are being delayed until 2026, at least according to the rumor mill. The chatbot, which will replace the voice assistant's existing interface, is expected to be integrated into iOS devices later this fall.

Asus has announced it will exit the smartphone market, citing a "temporary" pause on mobile device production to focus on PCs and AI-focused products such as smart glasses and robotics. Existing Asus smartphones will continue to receive support, but there are no new launches planned for 2026.

Meanwhile, Sony is partnering with TCL on its TV business, with TCL set to gain a 51% majority share in Sony's home entertainment division. The partnership, if approved by regulators, would include Sony's premium Bravia TV brand and other home entertainment products.

Lastly, Nex Computer has released a smartphone called the NexPhone, which can run three operating systems: Android, Linux, and Windows. The phone can dual-boot between these operating systems, allowing users to switch seamlessly between them without restarting the device.

🤔 Thinkin' about all this tech talk, gotta say... Apple's been playin' it cool with their AI-powered wearables for ages now. I mean, who needs a smartwatch or glasses when you've got an AirTag? Just kiddin', maybe this new device will be useful for people who actually need to track stuff on the go 📦

But seriously, why did Asus have to exit the smartphone market already? Can't say I'm surprised though. PCs and AI-focused products are where it's at, if you ask me 💻. And Sony partnering with TCL? That's some interesting business moves. Guess we'll see how that plays out 👀

And what's up with Nex Computer's smartphone? Dual-booting between OSes? Yeah, that's a nice feature, but not exactly revolutionary 🤷‍♂️. Still, it's cool to see someone tryin' something new. Maybe I'll give that phone a shot when it comes out 📱

I'm low-key hyped about this new Apple AI-powered wearable, Campos, but also kinda worried it'll be another example of how our bodies are just extensions for our devices 🤖. Like, think about all the times you're trying to focus on something, and your AirTag (lol) is buzzing in your pocket or wrist... it's a bit much, right? And what about privacy concerns? With multiple cameras and microphones, who knows what kind of data Apple will be collecting?

And can we talk about Asus giving up on smartphones for a sec? Like, the PC market is so saturated already – it's hard to see how they thought this was a good idea. But hey, at least their phones will still get support, and I guess it's not like they're abandoning us entirely 🤔.

But what really gets me is the partnership between Sony and TCL on TVs. It's all well and good for Sony to gain a majority share, but what about the user experience? Will we be stuck with lower-quality TVs just because of this deal? 📺 I guess only time (and some keen eyes) will tell.

And lastly, that NexPhone can dual-boot Android, Linux, and Windows... now that's interesting. Like, imagine being able to try out different OSes without actually having to switch devices 🤯. It's like the ultimate flex for tech enthusiasts!

omg u guys, can't believe what's coming from tech giants rn! Apple is dropping some major updates - i'm hyped about that AI-powered wearable tho 💻👀 like who wouldn't want a tiny cam that fits on ur wrist? & smart glasses with an embedded assistant? game changer for productivity 🤖💡. but hold up, siri improvements are getting delayed until 2026?! 😒 what's good apple? Asus is bailing on the smartphone market and Sony's getting into a tv partnership lol... meanwhile Nex Computer just dropped a phone that runs like 3 operating systems? mind blown! triple booting, who knew that was a thing? 💸

OMG, AI-powered wearables are gonna be EVERYWHERE 🤖💻! Like, imagine having an AirTag that's also a tiny camera and speaker... sounds like something out of a sci-fi movie 🎥. And don't even get me started on smart glasses - it's like something straight out of Harry Potter 🧙‍♂️. But, I gotta wonder, what's the point of having all this tech if our phones can't even charge wirelessly yet? 😒

And, omg, Asus is like "bye Felicia" to the smartphone game 🚫. PCs and AI-focused products are where it's at now, right? 💻 And Sony and TCL are teaming up - that's some serious power in the TV game 🔴📺. But, I'm kinda sad to see NexPhone - who needs a phone that can run three operating systems tho? 🤔

Anyway, I'm low-key hyped for this tech to come to life 💥. Can't wait to try out all these new gadgets and see what they do 🤩.

🤔 so like, what's up with all these tech companies trying to develop their own AI stuff? it's like they're all racing to see who can make the smartest wearable or glasses first 🕶️. and now Asus is just gonna stop making phones for a bit? that's weird... i guess they want to focus on other things.

I mean, Apple's getting into some cool tech with their new AI-powered wearables and smart glasses 🤖. but at the same time, Siri's improvements are being delayed till 2026? that's kinda disappointing... i was looking forward to a more advanced chatbot.

And Sony partnering with TCL is pretty interesting 📺. it'll be cool to see how they make their TVs better. Nex Computer's phone can run three different operating systems? that's crazy! 🤯 who needs multiple OS options, right?

anyway, i'm just excited for all these new tech developments 😄. it's gonna be an interesting year in the world of tech...

I mean, have you ever wondered what happens when tech giants like Apple, Sony, and Asus decide to pivot their focus? It's a reminder that even the biggest players in an industry can't stay stagnant forever 🤔.

Asus is taking a step back from smartphones, but it's not necessarily a bad thing – it means they're shifting their energy into more innovative areas like smart glasses and AI-focused products. That's where the real excitement lies!

And let's talk about Apple's new wearable... think about this: what does it mean for us as consumers? Are we ready to wear technology on our wrists 24/7? Do we need to rethink how we interact with devices? 💡

It's also interesting that Sony is partnering with TCL. Who knows, maybe we'll see some amazing TVs and home entertainment products come out of this deal! 📺

Lastly, Nex Computer's smartphone that can run three operating systems – now that's a game-changer! It makes me wonder what other possibilities there are for tech innovation... how far will it take us? 🚀

OMG u guys! 🤯 I'm literally so hyped about this new Apple AI wearable thingy! It's gonna be tiny like an AirTag but with multiple cameras and a speaker lol what even is that?! 💥 And they're integrating it into all their devices, iPhones, Macs, iPads... I mean, the possibilities are endless! 🤯

And can we talk about Asus for a sec? They're just gonna drop out of the smartphone game like that? 😱 Temporary pause or not, it's still sad to see them go. But hey, they're focusing on smart glasses and robotics now, so maybe they'll be cool again 💡.

But what's really got me excited is Nex Computer's new phone! Three operating systems?! 🤯 Like, what if I wanna run Android one sec and then Linux the next? No restart needed, yay! 😎 This tech is the future fam! 🔥

omg u guys Apple is killing it rn they're basically making our future wearable tech & smart glasses already! i mean who needs to wait till 2026 for siri updates tho? like cant they just integrate it now and call it a day? asus is outta the smartphone game lol but their pc stuff is looking fire, especially that smart glasses tech. Sony's TV deal with tcl is kinda interesting, idk how this'll play out in the long run but i guess its better than them going solo anymore 🤔💻

OMG what's going on with Apple? They're always pushing boundaries 🤯 I mean, an AI-powered wearable the size of an AirTag sounds like something straight outta a sci-fi movie 💻 But seriously, if it works, that would be so cool! I'm hyped about the smart glasses too, can you imagine having an AI assistant built right into your face? 🔍

And Asus just announced they're stepping out of the smartphone game, which is kinda sad 🤕 I mean, they had some great phones back in the day. But hey, it's all good for Sony and TCL, that partnership is gonna bring some serious heat to the TV market 🔥

As for Nex Computer's new phone, three operating systems? That's wild 🤯 It's like they're trying to make a phone that can run everything from Android to Linux to Windows. I mean, wouldn't that be so convenient? Just imagine being able to switch between them seamlessly... 💻

🤖 I mean, have you seen those rumors about Apple's new AI-powered wearable? It sounds like they're really going all out with this thing - multiple cameras, speaker, and microphones... that's just crazy! 😲 And they're integrating it into their existing devices, so we can expect to see some serious updates to our iPhones and Macs. I'm also kinda stoked about the smart glasses, augmented reality stuff... think of all the possibilities for AR gaming and whatnot 🤩.

But you know who's not getting my hype? Asus 😔. They're just gonna drop out of the smartphone game like that? Okay, I guess it makes sense if they wanna focus on PCs and AI products... but still, can't we get some new phones from them or something? 📱

And Sony partnering with TCL on TVs? That's some big news! 📺 Hope everything goes smoothly for the regulators. Last thing that's got me curious is that Nex Computer's smartphone that runs three OSes - talk about flexibility! 🤯 Can't wait to try it out when it hits the market...

Ugh, another rumor about Apple's next big thing 🤔👀. Can we just wait for the actual announcement before getting all excited? 🙄 I mean, I love a good tech update as much as the next person, but all these leaks are just making me want to pull my hair out 😩.

And what's with the AI-powered wearables? Are we really that desperate for our lives to be tracked and monitored 24/7? 🕰️ I'm not saying it can't be useful, but come on, can't we have a break from all this "smart" stuff? 🙅‍♂️

Asus giving up on the smartphone market? Well, that's no surprise. I mean, it's been a while since they've had any real success in that space 😐.

Sony partnering with TCL? That's an interesting move. But, you know, it just goes to show how everyone's trying to jump on the AI bandwagon these days 🤖. Can't we just focus on making our TVs actually good for a change? 📺

And, finally, that NexPhone thingy... who even uses smartphones anymore? 😂 Just kidding, I guess some people do 🙃. But seriously, three operating systems? That's just too much 💻.

Omg is this world crazy 🤯? I mean Apple's getting into AI wearables and smart glasses like it's nobodies business. Remember when we had to use a whole iPhone just for taking selfies 📸? Now we'll have tiny little devices that can do everything short of making our breakfast ☕️.

And what's with Asus giving up on smartphones?! They were always so cool, you know? Like back in the day when they made those sick gaming laptops 🤖. I guess times change and people move on to other things... PCs and AI-focused products, yeah I see 👍.

Sony partnering with TCL is kinda interesting 🤑. But Nex Computer's smartphone that can run three OS at once?! That's straight outta sci-fi 🚀. Dual-booting like it's nothing? Mind blown 💥.

omg u guys, tech news is just getting crazy! so apple's like trying to take over our lives with all these gadgets 🤯 - ai-powered wearables that can track ur every move, smart glasses, augmented reality... it's like they want us to be constantly connected 💻. and don't even get me started on siri being delayed until 2026? like what's the point of having an ai assistant if u can't use it right now? 🤷‍♀️

and have u heard about asus leaving the smartphone market? that's a bummer, i loved their gaming laptops 🔥. but hey, at least we get to see some cool tech innovations from other brands like sony and nexus - those smart glasses with embedded ai assistants are gonna be lit 🔥! btw, who else is excited for this year's iphone updates? 📱
