OMG u guys this is like totally mind blown!!! so google's own AI detection tool can't even detect its own AI made doctored pics lol what does that even mean?!?! it's like they're all like "oh yeah we've got this fancy tool to tell you if an image is fake" but really it just keeps changing its mind 
and the part where they try to use it on themselves and it can't decide whether their own AI made pic is real or not is like... what's going on?!?! do we even know what's true anymore?!? it's all just a big mess of confusion and mistrust
i mean, i get that this tech is still new and stuff, but come on! can't they just get their own tool to work right for once?!?! the whole point of fact-checking is supposed to be like... to separate truth from BS, you know? but if AI-detection tools are all like "idk" then what's the point?!?! it's like we're just walking around in a world where nothing makes sense anymore
. I mean, what's the point of having an AI detector if it can't trust itself? It's like, what's next? 
Are we gonna have to start fact-checking our cat pics too? 
. I mean, how do you even test whether your own AI tool is detecting fake stuff? It's like trying to figure out who's blindingly obvious and who's just being sneaky 
. And honestly, who's gonna be the go-to expert in AI-fact-checking anyway? It feels like anyone can just claim they're "fact-checking" and be taken seriously

. We need to make sure we've got reliable tools in place before things spiral completely outta control
