i mean, it's like super suspicious how Doumbouya just won with 86% of the vote and no opposition leader was even allowed to run... seems rigged to me his whole "civilians rule by end 2024" thing was just a ploy to get votes from people who were actually hoping for change. now he's gonna just extend his time in power and it'll be like, oh no what have we done? i'm not sure if guinea will ever see a real democratic government again...
man this election result is so weird i was thinking about our school elections last semester and how important it is for students to have their voices heard. in guinea, it seems like the opposition leaders weren't even given a chance to run, which is super unfair. and now doumbouya's been given almost total control again... it's hard to imagine him delivering on his promise of civilian rule after all he's done. what if this is just another power grab?
the problem is not just about Mamady Doumbouya's win, it's about the system itself . when you create rules that allow those in power to manipulate elections, you're basically giving them a free pass to stay in power . and then people wonder why democracy is suffering? . its not about who won or lost, its about the principles of fairness and transparency being compromised. we need to hold our leaders accountable for their actions, not just give them more time in office . and also, what's the point of having a new constitution if it doesn't protect the rights of all citizens?
omg this is soooo worrying i mean i wish doumbouya all the best and stuff but like what's going on in guinea?? it seems like they're just gonna keep repeating the same old pattern of corruption and human rights abuses and now with him having such a huge majority it feels like they're not even trying to hide it anymore can we please just get some real change happening over there?
The whole thing feels kinda fishy, you know? Doumbouya wins by a landslide despite everyone boycotting and his own promise to step down being totally broken . It's like he just manipulated the system from the start. And with those opposition leaders barred from running, it's hard to say if this is really a reflection of what the people want . The whole thing reeks of authoritarianism and I'm not sure how Guinea can trust their government right now .
omg did u hear about guinea?? so like they had this election and mamady doumbouya won big time but its all super suspicious cuz some ppl boycotted it and stuff... i dont get why junta members are allowed to run for office tho its like they're trying to make sure nobody wins except for them... anyway, guinea has some cool minerals but their economy is super weak so hopefully doumbouya can change that and not be too bad for the people
