Harry Styles is expanding his highly anticipated tour, adding new European shows as demand for his New York City residency reaches record-breaking levels.
The 30-show residency at Madison Square Garden in NYC drew significant attention, with presales generating a staggering 11.5 million artist registrations - the highest volume ever recorded for an artist presale in the city and largest registration performance for a residency run. Despite the massive demand, only around 540,000 people will be able to attend the shows due to MSG's concert capacity of 18,000.
Presales for Styles' NYC shows were marked by chaos as well as euphoria, with fans either celebrating their successful ticket purchases or venting about missed opportunities. To make things more manageable, general sales will be split into two phases - tickets go on sale in January and February for the respective periods of the residency.
In a surprise move, Styles has also added six new shows to his European leg of the tour, including two more at Amsterdam's Johann Cruijff Arena and four at Wembley Stadium. These dates bring the total number of scheduled shows to 36, with the tour set to stop in several major cities around the world.
The announcement comes as Styles is gearing up for the release of his fourth album, "Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally," which features his new single "Aperture." Fans are eagerly anticipating the LP, which follows Styles' successful 2022 album "Harry's House" that won Album of the Year at the Grammys.
