A veteran Harris County Sheriff's Office sergeant has been taken into custody at the very workplace where he is supposed to serve and protect, according to authorities. The 46-year-old sergeant, John Black, was arrested on Monday afternoon after a fugitive warrant from out of state came knocking.

It appears that this decorated law enforcement officer had a dark side. According to online records, Sergeant Black is accused of sending explicit photos of himself to an underage teenager in Florida. man this is just mind-blowing - someone who's been serving and protecting for 23 years can be caught up in something so sick 🤯 and you think the system failed him or that he was able to hide it from everyone? i feel bad for the victim, but at the same time, how did no one notice this before? was there anyone looking out for them? and what's being done now to make sure this doesn't happen again? 🤔
