sweetie was so deserving of that happy life after being in shelter 4 so long u think ppl r still lookin 4 younger dogs? i swear some ppl dont know what love is 
senior dogs r already house trained & calm, they just wanna snuggle n be loved like everyone else. its sad 2 hear adoption rates r droppin 2% 4 seniors nationwide but sweetie's story makes u hope 4 more ppl 2 realize senior dogs r still got plenty 2 give 
everyone talks about puppies but older dogs are just as deserving of love & attention. they dont need to be young & energetic all the time, just someone who wants a cuddle buddy

like we're always quick to pass over someone who's a little older because they don't fit our idealized image of youth or vitality. but sweetie just proved that there's so much more to life than just physical appearance. she was all about affection and love, and that's what really matters in the end. and yet we still see this trend of people choosing younger dogs over seniors... it's like we're valuing quantity over quality
