High school student charged with arson in fire that burned subway passenger

Man, can you believe this? Like, what's going on with these kids nowadays? I mean, I know some people were talking about how crazy the world was back in my day, but this Hiram Carrero dude sounds like something out of a horror movie 🤯.

Setting fire to someone on the subway and then just walking away? That's just...wow. And now he's being charged with murder too? I mean, I'm no lawyer, but it seems pretty clear that he's guilty as sin.

And what really gets me is that this kid was in high school. Like, 18 years old and already setting people on fire. It's like, what happened to all the good kids out there? Did we just raise a generation of sociopaths or something?

I know it sounds crazy, but I've always thought that this kind of stuff would be happening more often if our schools weren't so focused on teaching these kids how to pass tests and get good grades. We need to be teaching them some life skills, you know? Like how to be a functioning member of society.

Anyway, I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens with this guy. But it's definitely got me thinking... 😒

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole thing. I mean, an 18-yr-old high school student setting fire to a subway passenger? That's just crazy 😱. And now they're adding murder charges on top of it? It's like, what were they thinking?! 🤯 His lawyers are saying he needs mental health eval, but the judge is all like "no way, kid". I don't get why the laws have to be so strict with minors. He was in high school, for crying out loud! 😩 They should be teaching him how to be a good human being, not how to hurt others. This whole thing is just messed up.
