Hochul punts on reform of youth criminal justice law, dodging fight with fellow Democrats

I'm still salty about this whole Raise the Age thing 🤔. I mean, some people say it's helped with youth crime rates and all that jazz, but let's get real - we're not seeing the results because funding is super tight 💸. And what's up with the governor just sidestepping the whole debate? It feels like a cop-out 😒. Those district attorneys are right to be frustrated, though - reforming the law is still needed. I'm all for more community-based programs and stuff, but we gotta address the root of the issue: lack of funding 🤝. And can we please talk about Jason Rodriguez's point that we're still having this convo 9 years in? It's wild that it's become a regular thing 😩.
