Ugh, guys , I'm like totally shocked that some Reps defied their leadership to vote against this bill... I mean, come on! They're basically holding the entire country hostage over a few bucks for healthcare and food stamps . And now they're all mad that it didn't include an extension of ACA subsidies? Like, hello, get with the times, guys . The ACA is like, super old news now. We need to focus on the bigger picture, not just playing politics over people's lives .

And can we talk about how ridiculous it is that Rep Norman is already trying to make a scene and push for the health care funds to expire? Like, what even is his problem? Newsflash: this bill passed, shut up now . And don't even get me started on those Democrats who are still fighting for an ACA extension... like, can't they just agree on something already?

I don't get why they need 43 days of shutdown , like it's a big deal... And now they're voting to reopen government but with some conditions that are still kinda sketchy . I mean, what about those people who rely on food stamps? Shouldn't they be worried more than just their health insurance premiums?

I'm soooo relieved that the government shutdown is finally over ! It was such a stressful time for everyone, especially those who were affected by the lack of funding. But honestly, it's kinda crazy how it all came down to just 6 Democrats breaking party ranks . I mean, can you imagine if they hadn't? We would be in even worse shape right now.

But what really got me was when Rep. Suzan DelBene said that this bill is about "lowering costs" for everyday families . That's so true! The ACA subsidies are a huge lifeline for so many people, and it's heartbreaking to think that over 20 million Americans could see their premiums spike next year .

And let's be real, the fact that some Republicans were totally on board with this bill but still managed to complain about certain provisions ? It just shows how out of touch they are sometimes. I mean, if you're not going to support something that benefits everyday people, then what's the point?

omg i cant believe those 6 democrats who voted yes did so with their eyes closed lol, they must've been like "oh yeah lets just go along w/ the party line" and dont even get me started on that Ralph Norman dude, he's like the ultimate grump . i mean i get it, people are mad about healthcare costs, but come on, can't we all just get along? and btw, who thought it was a good idea to make ppl pay more for their ACA subsidies? that just seems like a recipe for disaster
