How Does the Hive Mind Work in ‘Pluribus’?

Ugh, sci-fi nerds... I mean, let's dive into this 🤖. So, basically they're saying that if people are infected with some alien virus and start sending out radio waves to each other, it won't be all rainbows and unicorns. First off, the signal would only travel like a mile or so before it gets too weak to detect. Like, what's the point of spreading panic if you can't even hear each other from across the street?

And then there's this idea about using digital values to encode messages. That's just clever... NOT 😏. I mean, sure, you could make the signal strong enough to be heard with a little hacking, but that's just assuming everyone has access to a decent computer and some basic coding skills.

I'm not saying it's impossible for this stuff to happen in real life (hello, RF signals can travel pretty far), but come on... let's keep things in perspective 🙄. Building Faraday cages using chicken wire is basically like wearing a tin foil hat, though... I guess that's one way to avoid the hive mind 🤣. Anyway, it's cool that people are thinking outside the box (or in this case, the hive mind).
