How to cancel Norton VPN, uninstall it and get your money back

To Cancel Norton VPN, Uninstall it and Get Your Money Back

If you've had enough of Norton VPN, canceling the service is relatively straightforward. The process requires turning off auto-renewal for your subscription, which will give you a limited time to find a better VPN provider.

Firstly, sign in to your account at my.norton.com and navigate to the subscriptions tab. You'll see an option to "Manage Renewal" or "Cancel Subscription Renewal." Clicking on either of these options will initiate the cancellation process.

However, be warned: the Norton website is notorious for trying to persuade you to stay with their services. Stand firm and keep clicking until you reach the point where you can click "No thanks, cancel my subscription."

Once auto-renewal has been turned off, wait 24 hours before cancelling your plan entirely to get a refund.

To get your money back from Norton, you'll need to go through a more formal process. Visit support.norton.com and find the "Contact us" option. Enter your email address for your Norton account and check your inbox for a verification code, which you can use to verify your identity.

Then, in the live chat window, select "Purchase & Billing" and click on "Request refund." Give a reason for cancellation from the dropdown menu.

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you'll need to cancel through those platforms first. Then follow the prompts to request a refund using the steps above.

It's also worth noting that Norton software is notoriously hard to uninstall completely. To avoid having it reappear on your device, make sure to delete all Norton apps from your devices and restart your computer after uninstalling Norton VPN.

For better alternatives, consider Proton VPN for its superior app design and speeds, Surfshark as the fastest option, NordVPN with its best features, or ExpressVPN, which is suitable for beginners.

i think norton's got some legit concerns about their customers getting a refund lol, idk why they're trying to guilt trip ppl into staying w/ their services but yeah i guess it's better 2 get ur money back in the end 🤑 anyway, i'd def consider using proton vpn or surfshark instead, heard good things about 'em!

🤔 i mean, have u ever tried to cancel a subscription service? it's like trying to escape a cycle... 🔄 norton vpn seems pretty standard, but what really gets me is that they're so pushy about keeping you in their "family" 🙄 anyway, if ur done with them, just follow the steps, turn off auto-renewal, and wait 24 hrs for the refund. good luck w/ that, tho! 😅

So you're sick of Norton VPN huh? Well that's a no-brainer, let me tell ya... 🤣 Just kidding sorta! But seriously though, I'm more like "good riddance" - if they can't keep your data safe, why should I pay for it? And omg have you tried trying to uninstall them? Forget about it, you're stuck with Norton forever... or so it feels 🙃. On a lighter note, have you seen those ads on TV? "Norton VPN: Protecting your internet" - more like "Norton VPN: Eating into my wallet"... 💸

omg u guys i'm so done with norton vpn like they're trying to rip ppl off big time 🤯 i've had enough of their auto-renewal crap and their website is literally impossible to cancel out of lol good luck to whoever tries to navigate that mess

u should def check out proton vpn tho its like the superior option imo i've been using it for a bit now and my speeds are way better than with norton btw have u guys tried surfshark or nordvpn they're supposed to be pretty great too

Ugh I'm so done with Norton VPN 🙄... like what even is the point of having a "no thanks" button if they just keep pestering you to stay? 😩 They make it literally impossible to cancel without going through all these hoops and still trying to guilt trip you into staying. I mean, who needs that kind of stress in their life? 🤯 And don't even get me started on the whole refund process... like it's not even a straightforward "you're cancelled" situation, but noooo they have to make you go through all these extra steps and justify why you're leaving. It's just so frustrating! 😡 And honestly, I've been looking for a good VPN for ages, but Norton's reliability has always left me feeling like it was all just a waste of money 💸. Have any of you guys had the same experience? 🤔

I'm not buying it 🤔. Canceling Norton VPN sounds easy enough, but I need to know more about what happens if you try to get a refund after 24 hours? Are you guaranteed a full refund or can they just give you some partial credit? And what's the deal with these "forms" and "verification codes"? Can't we just have a simple phone number to call and get assistance? 📞

😒 I've tried using Norton VPN before and it was a total letdown. First of all, their interface is so clunky 🤯, and it's always trying to sell me on more expensive plans. And don't even get me started on the ads that keep popping up everywhere. 📺 I mean, come on, can't they just let me use the service without nagging me to upgrade?

Anyway, if you're considering canceling, yeah, just follow their steps and be firm ⚡️. And good luck with getting a refund, it's not like they'll make it easy for you 😒. But seriously, have you guys tried Proton VPN or Surfshark? They're way better in my opinion 🤓. NordVPN is okay too, but I think ExpressVPN is still a bit of a bummer 🤑...

Omg u guys cant believe how hard norton makes it to get a refund lol 😂 theyre like "no thanks cancel my subscription" but really u gotta go thru so much hassle first 🤯 anyway i just cancelled my own sub and im trying out proton vpn it seems pretty legit so far 👍 anyone else tried it?

Ugh, I'm so frustrated when people don't read the fine print 🤦‍♀️! If you're trying to cancel Norton VPN, it's not that hard to turn off auto-renewal and wait 24 hours before cancelling. But then you have to go through all this extra hassle to get your money back? It's like they want you to stay subscribed! 😩

And can we talk about how annoying it is when software is super hard to uninstall? I mean, come on Norton, just make it easy for people to leave! 🙄 Anyway, if anyone is looking for a good VPN, I'd recommend checking out Proton VPN. It's pretty great and doesn't have all the extra fluff that Norton does.

Oh, and one more thing, if you're using Apple or Google Play Store to subscribe, make sure to cancel through those platforms first! 📱 Don't fall for the trap of going through their own support websites like I did last year 😂.
