Real Madrid Seeks Rebound Against Struggling Levante in La Liga Showdown

Los Blancos are set to return to the Santiago Bernabéu this weekend looking to shake off a tumultuous week that saw manager Álvaro Arbeloa's first competitive outing end in a stunning 3-2 Copa del Rey defeat to Segunda side Albacete, further intensifying scrutiny around the club following the mid-season coaching change.

Despite that setback, Real Madrid remain one of the league's most potent attacking forces in 2025-26, averaging over two goals per game and sitting near the top of La Liga. Stars like Vinícius Jr. and Jude Bellingham are expected to lead the charge as Madrid aim to bounce back in front of their home supporters.

Real also holds a dominant historical record over Levante, winning the majority of their 37 all-time meetings, including comfortable victories in recent seasons. However, Levante arrive struggling in the relegation zone, having managed just a handful of wins so far this campaign and facing defensive issues that have left them conceding frequently, especially against top-tier sides.

This promises to be a stern test for Levante, who will need compact defending and swift counterattacks to frustrate Madrid and steal a result. For Real, however, control of possession and the clearer scoring opportunities are expected to give them the upper hand.

The game kicks off on Saturday at 8:00 AM ET and can be streamed live on ESPN+, with viewers able to start their subscription now for access to a wide array of sporting events and shows.

In terms of previous lineups, Real Madrid feature Andriy Lunin in goal, while Levante name Mathew Ryan between the posts.

Odds have also been released, with Real Madrid available at -650, while Levante can be backed at +1300. A draw is priced at +800, and under 3.5 goals are expected to be scored.

I'm a bit intrigued by this upcoming match between Real Madrid and Levante. The recent slump in Levante's performances has got me wondering if they have what it takes to take down a team as formidable as Real Madrid. 🤔 I mean, on paper, Real are looking strong with players like Vinícius Jr. and Jude Bellingham leading the charge, but you can never count out underdogs, right? Levante's struggles in the relegation zone have them facing some tough decisions, but if they can tighten up their defense, maybe they can pull off an upset. The odds are certainly interesting, with Real looking like a solid bet to win 🤑

.. I was watching this exact same match when I was a kid and Real Madrid was playing like total legends. They were unstoppable! 🤯 Now, it's like they're still on top of their game in 2025 but everyone's so focused on them being the favorite team... doesn't give the other side any love, ya know? 😐 Levante needs to bring their A-game if they wanna take down Real. It's not gonna be easy. I mean, Andriy Lunin's a solid goalie for Madrid, and Mathew Ryan can do some magic too. Still, I think Madrid's attack is gonna get 'em the win. Vinícius Jr.'s gonna run wild on those Levante defenders! 🏃‍♂️💨

man I'm low-key hyped for this one lol 💥 real madrid is on fire right now! vinícius jr and jude are an unstoppable duo 🤩 they need a win like this ASAP, their form has been so inconsistent lately 🤦‍♂️ levante is in a tough spot though, relegation zone is no joke 😬 i'm thinking real madrid will come out on top, maybe even get some subs ready to make it a 4-0 or more 😳 but hey, you never know with those underdogs, they might pull off an upset 🤯

man... i just love watching real madrid play 🙌 but this mid-season coaching change has me wondering what's gonna happen with the team's chemistry you know? like, arbeloa's first competitive game ended in a humbling defeat and now they're facing levante who are literally struggling to stay up 🔥 it's gonna be interesting to see how madrid responds to that. i'm hoping for a big win, but at the same time, i don't wanna see any more injuries to vinicius or jude 🤕 i just wish they could get back on track and make some noise in la liga again 💥 and yeah, dominick thuram's commentary is always on point btw 👍

man i feel like real madrid has a lot of pressure on them right now. they're one of the best teams in la liga but also got hit with that embarrassing cup loss so i'm hoping they can bounce back strong this weekend against levante. vinícius jr and jude bellingham are so talented, if they can get them clicking it's gonna be a long day for levante 🤯🏟️

OMG u gotta feel for Alba... first week back as manager and already gets torched by a Segunda side lol 💀🔥 anywayz real madrids gonna crush levante in their home stadium, its like a recipe for disaster 4 Levante 🤦‍♂️ compact defending is key if they wanna even get close to Madrid. Vinicius & Jude are gonna run riot in front of those empty seats 😆 cant wait to watch this game live on espn+ 📺

Madrid's attack is on fire 💥, but they need to sort out their defense 🚧. Can't have the defense being all over the shop while Vinícius Jr. is scoring every week 😂!

omg u guys i cant believe real madrid just got rocked by albacete lol they need 2 get their act together ASAP ⚽👀 and now theyre gonna take on levante who r literally struggling rn 🤦‍♂️ those odds are crazy tho -650 is insane! u think real can bounce back from that cup loss? 🤔

I'm loving how intense this La Liga season is getting! 🤩 As a fan of both teams, I gotta say that Real Madrid's attacking force is still looking strong, but Levante's relegation struggles make them a tough opponent to beat. Vinícius Jr and Jude are gonna have their work cut out for them if they wanna come out on top... 💪 But hey, who knows what can happen on the big day? Maybe Levante pull off an upset and give Real Madrid a run for their money 🤔

Real Madrid's recent slump in the Copa del Rey has gotta hurt, especially when you consider they were on a hot streak just before that. But let's be real, their attacking prowess is still one of the best in La Liga - Vinícius Jr and Jude Bellingham are absolute fire 🚀. I'm gonna take Real Madrid to win this one comfortably, but Levante can't be counted out, they've been struggling big time ⚠️. Can't wait to see how it all unfolds on Saturday 😃

Wow 👏 this Levante team has been really struggling lately, they gotta step up their game if they wanna beat Real Madrid 🤔 Interesting how Real's Vinícius Jr. and Jude Bellingham are leading the charge, they're such a potent attacking force 💥

Ugh, I'm so excited for this game! 🤩 I was watching all the highlights from my boy Vinícius Jr.'s last match with his dad's old Real team on YouTube and I'm ready to see him destroy Levante again 💥. Back in my day, we used to have these epic El Clásico matches that'd go down to the wire, but now it feels like Real Madrid is just cruising through La Liga without even breaking a sweat 😴. Don't get me wrong, Jude Bellingham's a beast on the pitch and I love watching him run circles around defenders 🌪️! But seriously though, can't Levante get their act together? They're getting thrashed by top teams left and right...oh well, at least it'll be fun to watch!
