this whole thing got me thinking about how our heroes can sometimes become our biggest villains... like, i get it, everyone needs a break now and then, but dragging your car out on the highway with an 8-year-old inside? that's just insane... I mean, what if he'd gotten into an accident or something? the thought of it still keeps me up at night 
. as for gumataotao, i hope he gets his act together and learns from this mistake 'cause, honestly, who needs a badge when you're not gonna follow the rules? the worst part is that we're putting our trust in these officers to keep us safe, but sometimes they just don't measure up...

. I don't think any cop should be allowed to get away with this kind of reckless behavior, not even off-duty. The department needs to take a closer look at their vetting process and make sure they're hiring people who are more responsible than just getting behind the wheel.
