Shooting in SE Houston Leaves Young Man Dead, Another Injured, Police Release Surveillance Footage
Police have released surveillance footage showing two masked men wearing hoodies driving a white Mercedes-Benz sedan on the night of April 23, 2025, when they allegedly shot and killed 26-year-old Daylan Walker and injured another man. The shooting took place in the South Belt/Ellington neighborhood of southeast Houston.
According to authorities, officers responded to a call at 10219 Rolleston Lane around 8:15 p.m. upon arrival, found Walker unresponsive inside the garage with multiple gunshot wounds, and later pronounced him dead on the scene. Medical staff also treated the other injured man, who was taken to a nearby hospital.
The suspects fled in their car after the shooting, prompting detectives to release the surveillance footage in an effort to identify them. The footage shows two unknown men wearing masks and hoodies driving away from the scene in the white Mercedes-Benz sedan.
Police have confirmed that one of the injured men is still hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspects' identities remain a mystery for now, but authorities are urging anyone with information on their whereabouts to come forward.
