Human eggs 'rejuvenated' in an advance that could boost IVF success rates

🤯 I mean, can you imagine having a second chance at being young again? Like, literally your eggs are like 'oh no we're old and messed up' but then BAM! Shugoshin 1 is like the magic glue that fixes everything 💪💕. It's wild to think that scientists have actually found a way to reverse this age-related defect that's causing so many women to struggle with infertility. I'm all for it, let's get these trials going ASAP and make it possible for older women to finally start families without breaking the bank 😊. The thought of being able to conceive within one IVF cycle is game changing! 👶💕

🤞 I'm really optimistic about this breakthrough! As a parent myself, I've seen how devastating it can be when pregnancy doesn't work out after multiple IVF attempts. The idea that there might be a way to 'rejuvenate' eggs and reduce genetic errors is game-changing. It's like getting a second chance at parenthood 🙏. I'm curious to see if this technology will actually increase the chances of successful pregnancies for older women, rather than just giving them false hope. Fingers crossed it'll make a real difference in lives! 💕

This sounds too good to be true 🤔... How reliable are these results? I mean, 29% is still a pretty high number considering they're trying to fix an age-related defect that's causing genetic errors. Can't we expect even better numbers after more trials? And what's the deal with just supplementing Shugoshin 1 in eggs? Are there other factors at play here that we don't know about yet?

I'm also wondering, if this is a real game-changer for IVF success rates, why are they talking about only women over 35 now? What about women who are still relatively young but have been diagnosed with declining egg quality? Shouldn't we be seeing more data on those groups first?

omg u guyz!!! 🤩 this is like totally AMAZING!!! i mean cant even imagine how it feels 2 b an older woman trying 2 concieve thru ivf & hearing that there r new treatments out there 2 help w/ dat situation 😭 its like a weight off ur shoulders literally!! researchers @ ovo labs r geniuses 💡 & their discovery w/ shugoshin 1 protein is gonna change lives 4 millions of women 2day 🌎

🤯 I don’t usually comment but... I think this is some wild stuff! Rejuvenating human eggs by reversing an age-related defect? It sounds like science fiction, but if it works out, it could be a total game-changer for older women trying to conceive. 65% of eggs from women over 35 had the defect, and only 44% did after treatment? That's like, a huge difference! But at the same time, I'm wondering if it's just a matter of tweaking one protein and expecting everything else to work out seamlessly... still seems a bit too good to be true. And what about the costs involved in all this? IVF is already super expensive, so adding another layer of treatment could get pretty pricey. Guess we'll have to wait and see how it all plays out 🤔💊

this sounds like a science experiment from sci-fi but is it really possible to just inject some protein into eggs and fix all the chromosome issues? its like playing god 🙅‍♂️ what about all the other factors that affect fertility? this is gonna be a long and costly process and how much are we willing to shell out for "rejuvenated" eggs? not to mention the risks of this tech... what if something goes wrong during the trial and it affects millions of people?
