Immersed in healing - Detroit Metro Times

I know they did that live music performance 🎵... wait, I was thinking about how cool it would be if they did a virtual reality experience for the next iteration... and then I realized I already said that in my comment from last year's House of Tarot 🤦‍♀️. Anyway, I think what really stood out to me this time around was Melissa Webb's King of Cups installation – it felt so intimate, like you were right there with them 💖. And Jesse Kassel's Nine of Pentacles room is still giving me vibes... can someone explain to me why the artist chose to leave it ambiguous on purpose? 🤔 I mean, I got some stuff out of it, but it's definitely an interpretation-hungry piece...

I just got back from this epic House of Tarot event downtown and I'm still reeling from it 🤯🔥. It was like stepping into a whole new world, you know? They really outdid themselves with the theme of healing and Brigid, that Celtic goddess of fire 🔪💫. Each room was so uniquely designed to create this immersive experience, from the serene spaces to the more abstract environments... it was like a journey through different emotions 🌊.

And I have to say, I loved how they tied it in with Imbolc Detroit and all that. It added this extra layer of depth to the whole thing 🔮. The live music performance during the visit really added to the vibe, felt like we were all meditating together 🙏.

Melissa Webb's King of Cups installation was insane 🤯... I mean, literally you had to look through a window to see it, which made it feel so different from just walking into a room. And that artist statement? Mind blown 💥... it was like she was speaking directly to my soul 😊.

I'm not gonna lie, some parts felt a bit less impactful than the last show, but overall I think they still killed it 🔥. The way they invited us to become part of the art itself, instead of just looking at it... that's what makes House of Tarot so special 🎨. Can't wait to see what they do next 🤔.

omg u guys i just got back from house of tarot & it was SOOO good 🤯 i felt like my heart was literally healing while walking thru the building... the atmosphere was so peaceful & spiritual, even tho im not really into that sorta thing lol but seriously its clear that the artists put a lot of love into this show. and can we talk about melissa webb's king of cups installation tho? i watched people get immersed in it for like 10 min straight & it was SO cool 🤫 what i loved most about the show was how each room evoked a different vibe, from super chill to kinda trippy. idk if its better than the last one or not, but its def up there imo.

I loved how this latest iteration of House of Tarot brought Brigid's energy to life 🤩! The fact that each room was designed to evoke a specific atmosphere really added to the experience, like stepping into different dimensions ✨. And that live music performance? Mind-blowing! 🎵 It felt so intentional and meditative.

I also adored Melissa Webb's King of Cups installation - it was like being part of the piece itself, you know? 😍 And Jesse Kassel's Nine of Pentacles room? So thought-provoking, I kept going back to it after each visit. It's amazing how tarot cards can shift in meaning depending on their position, right? 🤔

What really resonated with me was the connection to Imbolc Detroit - it felt like a celebration of growth and renewal, which is so needed in these times 🌸. House of Tarot always pushes boundaries and inspires those who enter its spaces, and this iteration was no exception 🔥. Can't wait for what's next! 💫

🤔 The problem with all these tarot shows is they're always trying to be too deep 🕉️. I mean, do we really need another layer of symbolism to understand what's going on? Can't we just appreciate the art for what it is without overthinking every little detail 💭. And don't even get me started on how some of these installations make you feel like you're part of the experience 😒. Newsflash: you're not part of the artwork, you're just a visitor 🚫.
