like he knew exactly what he was doin but then again he did seem super shook when it came time to confirm his ID... and that last statement of his "this is not over" gave me major chills 
can't believe how intense the courtroom got. i feel bad for the guy tho, sounds like he's been through some major trauma in his past. hope he gets the help he needs on appeal
