I'm so over the stigma around audiobooks! It's like, who cares how you're consuming the story? If it's good, it's good, right? I've always been an avid listener myself and I can attest that it's not about the medium, it's about the content. And let's be real, some people are just more visual learners or have a hard time reading due to conditions like dyslexia. Audiobooks are a game-changer for accessibility and convenience. It's awesome to see authors experimenting with audio-only releases too! I mean, who wouldn't want to hear Benedict Cumberbatch narrate their next book?
I mean, who wouldn't want to just sit back, relax, and let someone else do the work for you? Audiobooks are basically just reading, but with a better excuse to not pick up a book โ multitasking FTW! And don't even get me started on how great it is that authors are now making audio versions too. I guess it's finally cool to admit that some people just can't be bothered to crack open a physical book
I'm so glad they're finally giving audiobooks the recognition they deserve I mean, I've been listening to books for years and I have to say it's changed my life I can multitask while reading, I don't need to be stuck in one place, and I can even do chores while getting lost in a story I feel like I'm actually learning more from the audiobooks than some of the print books I've read... I know it sounds weird but hear me out My partner thinks I'm crazy for always carrying my earbuds with me, but he just doesn't get it Anyway, I think this shift is a good thing and we should be embracing all formats of reading, not just print. Maybe one day they'll even make audiobooks look cool
