Israeli surveillance targets US and allies at joint base planning Gaza aid and security, say sources

🤔 I don't get why we're so quick to jump on this latest surveillance scandal in Gaza. Like, yeah, it's sketchy that US diplomats are being recorded without their knowledge, but isn't that just how intelligence agencies work? 🕵️‍♂️ It feels like a giant conspiracy theory fest to me.

And can we talk about the aid situation in Gaza for a second? I mean, Israel's restrictions on humanitarian goods are super problematic. Like, what's the point of even having a ceasefire if you're just gonna keep starving people? 🤯 The fact that Palestinians aren't even part of these planning discussions is just crazy.

I'm all for accountability and transparency in our foreign policy dealings, but sometimes I feel like we overreact to stuff that's just part of how these things work. 💁‍♀️ We need to take a step back and look at the bigger picture before we start throwing stones. 🌳

I'm really worried about this new joint military base in southern Israel 🤔. It's like they're setting up some kind of surveillance state right under our noses. The fact that Israeli operatives are secretly recording meetings between diplomats and aid workers is just not cool 👎. I mean, what's next? They gonna start monitoring our emails and messages too? 😱

And the thing with the US logistics experts trying to get humanitarian aid into Gaza... it's like Israel is playing a game of cat and mouse with them 🐈. The restrictions on goods entering the territory are just ridiculous. I get that security is important, but come on! You can't restrict aid shipments under the guise of "dual-use" restrictions when people are literally starving over there 🤕.

The CMCC is basically a bunch of bureaucratic red tape wrapped around humanitarian concerns 💁‍♀️. It's like they're more concerned with covering their own tracks than actually helping the people in Gaza. And what really gets me is that Palestinians aren't even represented at these planning sessions. That's just not right 🙅‍♂️.

I think we need to rethink this whole setup and make sure that humanitarian concerns are prioritized over national security concerns 💖. Maybe it's time for the US and other allies to have a bigger say in how aid is being distributed in Gaza? 🤝
