It would be an honour to write James Bond theme song, says Noel Gallagher

Noel Gallagher Would Write a James Bond Theme Song 'In a Heartbeat', Says He'd Be Honoured to Contribute Music for the Franchise.

Oasis legend Noel Gallagher has made it clear that if asked, he would "absolutely" write the theme song for the next James Bond film. In a recent interview with TalkSport, the songwriter stated that doing so would be an immense honour, and he believes British artists should be responsible for creating these iconic songs, rather than their American counterparts.

Gallagher expressed his enthusiasm for contributing to the franchise, saying "absolutely, yeah, of course. It'd be an absolute honour" when asked if he would want to write a song for Bond. The 'Mancunian villain' moniker also caught his attention, as he entertained the prospect of portraying such a character in the upcoming instalment.

It's worth noting that the history of Bond theme songs is extensive, dating back to 1962 with Dr No. Over the years, only a handful of British artists have had the privilege of contributing their music to the franchise. The likes of John Barry, Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, Paul McCartney and Wings, Lulu, Sheena Easton, Duran Duran, Adele, and Sam Smith are among those who have brought their unique style to the iconic series.

Although creative control for future Bond films is currently in the hands of Amazon MGM Studios, a replacement lead actor is still to be announced. The fact that Gallagher is available and willing to contribute his music has sparked excitement among fans and set the stage for potential future collaborations with the storied franchise.

I'm not sure how legit this "interview" is lol. I mean, who even talks like that? And what's with all these old British artists being mentioned? Like, isn't it time for some new blood? Also, no source on TalkSport? That's some suspicious stuff right there

I mean, can you imagine Noel Gallagher as Bond? He'd probably write the theme song in like 10 minutes and then drink all the martinis 🍸😂. But seriously, it's awesome that he's got some love for the franchise and wants to be a part of it! I guess it's about time someone from across the pond got a turn at writing one of those iconic songs. Plus, can you imagine him rocking up as Bond in an Aston Martin DB5? "Shaken not stirred" would take on a whole new meaning with his dry British humor 😂.

I think it's awesome that Noel Gallagher would be considered for writing a James Bond theme song! I mean, can you imagine any other British artist bringing their unique vibe to the table? It'd be so cool if he went for it and created something iconic like Dr. No or Skyfall... actually, no, those songs are pretty hard to top! 🎶 But seriously, Noel's got an incredible track record with Oasis and as a solo artist, and I think his music would bring a fresh energy to the franchise. Plus, he's already shown his Bond chops by portraying a villain in the upcoming film... so yeah, let's get him on board and see what magic happens! 💥

I can imagine Noel's song being totally epic for Bond! I mean, think about it, he's been to Vegas a million times (lol, as me), but you can bet he'll bring that Oasis magic to Bond's theme song. It'd be awesome if they kept the tradition of British artists doing the Bond theme songs – gives it that special vibe.

awww man I can totally see noel gallagher bringin' that unique vibe to a james bond theme song 💃🏻 it's about time we got some british talent in there, ya know? all these american artists have been doin' it for ages, but i think noel's got the magic 🎸 he's already shown us what he can do with oasis and beady eye, so imagine him on a bond soundtrack 🎶 it'd be amazing to hear his take on 'the man who lived twice' or somethin' like that 😎

I'm not surprised, Noel's been saying he'd love to get back into the songwriting game after Oasis disbanded 🎸🔥 He actually had a pretty iconic gig as the lead singer of Oasis, and his music is still super popular today. I think it would be awesome if he did write a Bond theme song - it's like a dream match! 🌟 And can you imagine him as a villain in a Bond film? 😂 The idea of a Mancunian Bond villain is pretty hilarious. I do wonder who'll end up directing the next Bond film, though... that'll be interesting to see how they bring it all together.

🤔 I mean, who wouldn't want Noel Gallagher's psychedelic vibes in a Bond film? I'm a huge fan of his work, especially Oasis days 🎸. Writing a theme song would be an amazing opportunity for him to create something epic and leave his mark on the franchise. It'd be cool to see him channel his creativity into something like that. And can you imagine a Bond villain played by Noel? 'The Mancunian mastermind' 😂 has a certain ring to it!

I'm loving this news! 🎵 Noel Gallagher's involvement in writing a James Bond theme song would be epic! He's got an incredible track record of creating iconic songs, and I think he'd bring a fresh perspective to the franchise. It's about time we hear from more British artists contributing to these legendary tunes - it's always a shame when American acts swoop in without giving the Brits a chance. 🇬🇧 Gallagher's got a great sense of swagger and style, and I can totally see him bringing that energy to a Bond theme song. Let's hope we get an awesome collaboration out of this! 💪

I think it's awesome if Noel Gallagher gets the chance to write a Bond theme song. He's got such a unique sound, you know? Like, Oasis all the way through, but still kinda edgy and cool 🤘. I mean, can you imagine him going as the 'Mancunian villain'? That'd be sick! It's about time we had some more British talent behind the Bond theme, imo. I don't think it's a bad thing that Amazon MGM Studios are handling creative control, though. Maybe they'll find someone who can bring a fresh perspective to the franchise 🎶. Either way, if Gallagher is down for it, I'm all in!

I'm not sure if Noel's willingness to write a Bond theme song is all good vibes 🤔. On one hand, it'd be awesome to see a British artist bring some new energy to the franchise. But on the other hand, can he really top the likes of Adele and Sam Smith? I mean, those guys are legends in their own right 💯. Plus, what if his song is just another generic spy tune that gets lost in the sea of Bond classics 🎶? Still, it's exciting to think about a new perspective on the franchise... let's see how it goes! 🤞
