Jim Caviezel to play Jair Bolsonaro in 'heroic' biopic

omg u guys can u even believe jim caviezel is playing jair bolsonaro lol what a weird casting choice i mean i get it the guy has that whole conservative christian vibe going on but come on does he really need to be typecast as a right-wing extremist now that's just like, so extra anyway its interesting that they're gonna focus on his presidential campaign and all that military background stuff because like we all know bolsonaro loves those guns lol

and i gotta say im kinda concerned about caviezel's involvement with q-anon and all the other far-right media outlets hes got some baggage, you feel? like is he really ready to portray a complex figure like bolsonaro or is this just gonna be another one of those performances where hes trying too hard to be edgy i dont know man ill have to keep an eye on this project

I'm not sure if this biopic is gonna be a good thing... I mean, Jim Caviezel's already got a history with conservative values and right-wing stuff, so it feels like he's biting off more than he can chew with Bolsonaro. And let's be real, the guy's gotta play the role of someone who's been accused of orchestrating a coup and now faces 27 years in prison? That's some heavy baggage to carry on screen.

I guess what I'm worried about is that Caviezel's gonna come across as too sympathetic towards Bolsonaro's ideology, considering his own views. And with the film focusing on the military background and right-wing ideology, it might give a skewed perspective on Bolsonaro's whole thing. Plus, with Q-Anon vibes surrounding the production... it just feels like this biopic is gonna be a bit too polarized for its own good

I don't know why they're even making a movie about Bolsonaro... isn't he still in prison? I mean, I know it's not up to us to decide what happens in Hollywood, but can't we just watch a movie without having to worry about the guy being portrayed actually committing crimes in real life? Jim Caviezel is going to play him because... why? He's got some weird connections to right-wing people and I'm just not sure he's the best choice for this role. Maybe they should've gone with someone who doesn't have so many ties to, like, Trump and Q-Anon and all that
