Judge indefinitely bars Trump from fining University of California over alleged discrimination

🤔 this ruling just feels like another example of trump trying to exert his influence through lawsuits. like, what's next? him going after individual students or professors for expressing unpopular opinions? 📚 i'm not saying ucla didn't do anything wrong, but a court ruling last year already cleared them of any wrongdoing... seems like trump's just looking for something to sue about atm.

i also find it interesting that the admin was trying to fine universities over free speech issues. isn't that kinda ironic? 🤷‍♂️ wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of a trump-induced lawsuit, that's for sure!

Ugh, Trump's always trying to stir up drama 🤯. I mean, come on, if he can't even get it right with UCLA, what does that say about his whole "tough on free speech" thing? 🙄 It's all just a bunch of nonsense. And let's be real, if the university was really that bad, wouldn't some other judge or authority figure have said something by now? The fact that Trump's admin had to rely on unsubstantiated claims just proves he's trying to bully people into silence. I'm glad Judge Lin called him out on it though - someone needs to bring him back down to earth 🤓.

man this is wild 🤯 Trump's admin is really going after universities for free speech but now it looks like they've got nothing on them 😂. I mean UCLA was totally in the clear last year and a federal judge just confirmed that. The way Trump's trying to bully these schools into censoring themselves is really concerning, especially with all the important discussions that happen on campus 🤔. It's kinda funny that they're going after universities over free speech while they can't even get along with each other in the admin 🙄

Just think about this... like, how many times have we seen Trump tweet something outta nowhere and then try to use it against someone? 🤔 And now UCLA is just getting a slap on the wrist for standing up for its students. I'm all for free speech, but come on! When you start throwing fines around over nothing, that's when you gotta take a step back. It's not about Trump or the university, it's about setting boundaries and being reasonable. 🙄

Ugh I dont get why trump is still trying to ruin people's lives 🤷‍♀️. like, he had his chance to be president and he messed it up. now he's just trying to pick on smaller universities and stuff. UCLA did nothing wrong btw. I mean what's the point of fining a whole university over some antisemitism claims? its not like they were ignoring it or something 🤔. and what even is the definition of "substantive evidence" anymore? sounds like trump's lawyers just made up some BS to try and get out of paying those fines 💸.

So Trump's trying to bully UCLA again 🤔. I mean, what's the real motive here? Is it just about control or is he genuinely concerned about antisemitism on campus? Either way, this decision by Judge Lin is a win for academic freedom and free speech 👏.

But let's talk about the bigger picture - this kind of intimidation tactic is exactly what concerns me. When Trump resorts to threatening institutions like UCLA over issues like these, it sends a chilling message that he can pick and choose who gets punished or not based on his own biases 🤷‍♂️.

It raises questions about accountability, transparency, and the role of executive power in policing speech on campuses. As a society, we need to be careful about where we draw lines between acceptable discourse and discriminatory behavior 💡.
