I'm getting really worried about this election 
. As a Detroit resident, you want someone on your council who's actively engaged in policy discussions and cares about making changes that benefit the community. But with Karen Whitsett's record, I'm not seeing that enthusiasm. She seems to be more focused on her own interests rather than representing the people she's supposed to serve 
. Her attendance record is straight-up laughable – missing 77% of sessions? That's unacceptable for a council member who's supposed to represent our city's needs. And let's not forget those shocking votes against Medicaid funding, environmental programs, and reproductive rights... that's just not what we need from our leaders 
. We deserve better, and I'm hoping voters will make the right choice in 2025
