omg yaaas i just watched cooking with kathryn and i'm DYING the physical comedy had me in stitches every time kate owens is literally a genius, her timing and reactions are perfection the show's commentary on patriarchal values was so sharp and on point it's not often you see comedy tackle such heavy topics with such finesse only minor complaint is that the ending felt a bit rushed still 10/10 would watch again
I'm kinda surprised by how much I liked 'Cooking With Kathryn'. I mean, who doesn't love a good roast of patriarchal values? But seriously, the way Owens pokes fun at those expectations is actually really sharp and insightful. It's not just some lazy "oh women are oppressed" shtick, it's actually got heart and humor to back it up. And Kathryn's character development feels pretty real too - I mean, who hasn't felt like they're stuck between rebellion and conformity? The only thing that would've made the show even better for me is if the ending was a bit more messy, you know? A little less neat and tidy resolution can be really satisfying.

Kate Owens' performance looks so hilarious and talented, she's got me hooked already! Can't wait to see it live at the Soho theatre in London - January 10th can't come soon enough .
I love how 'Cooking With Kathryn' is using comedy to tackle some heavy stuff like patriarchal expectations and conformity.
