"I got emotional watching the movie because I thought about my 10-year-old self growing up in small Belmont, North Carolina," she said. "Growing up on Disney movies, I never thought I would be in this position, so it's a pretty special experience to get to do this."
Similarly, Ke Huy Quan is thrilled to join the cast of "Zootopia 2" after being inspired by the Disney animated films of his childhood. "I grew up on Disney animated films," he said. "It's made a huge impact on my childhood, so to get to be a Disney character and have your own merchandise and also be a part of this huge family where you're going to have a positive influence on the next generation. That is something every actor hopes to be a part of."

i mean i grew up watching the first one with my little sis and we would always talk about what kind of food Judy's mom would make (i know it sounds weird but just go with it lol) and now ke huy quan is in it with fortune feimster and jason bateman and i'm low-key crying thinking about how much fun they must have had making this movie together 
my 10 year old self would totally freak out if she saw gary de snake come to life too, poor guy gotta deal with being a misunderstood pit viper lol anyway cant wait to see the movie this weekend!!! 
And why did Gary De'Snake move from the desert to Zootopia? Was he like, homesick or something?

what i love most about zootopia 2 tho is how it tackles topics like acceptance and understanding. its not just a fun cartoon, its actually got some depth to it
